Could it be that we are being made aware that in many respects such scenes can be found almost everywhere in the world to a greater or lesser degree?
Maybe this is just a documentary kind of thing and not carrying a big message? "Look! Girls!". There are lots of places I know where there is NONE of this! Nothing to do outside at night, no girls walking around, public safety is poor, no street vendors.... I haven't been to China, but having watched hundreds of videos of open markets and the general street view there, I have the impression that most of China is not like this.
There are many young lady packages, which are not expensive and only cost tens of dollars. I know many places and I have channels. There are also cheaper ones on the street, which cost more than ten dollars.

Nah! Shenzhen is the best. Trust me. At least for night life. Shenzhen is not a hometown. 40, 50 years ago Shenzhen was a small fisherman's village. Because of its proximity to Hong Kong it became a special economy zone. Boys, young men, will mostly stay with their family in their hometown to run father's business whatever. The young ladies are sent to work. Where they go? To grand Tech-town Shenzhen. Shenzhen has about 75% of their population young ladies. Figure out the rest of the story. Believe me.
Dang it! I miss it so much! I lived three years in Shenzhen, later 2 years in Suzhou near Shanghai. Chinese nightlife is the best and I had the best times of my life. Really! Can't tell you much, but it was awesome. I even miss the smell from the street food and barbecue (烧烤) It's just delicious. And everything else also 😅😎

Not to excuse them but there is so much more trash these days e.g takeway drinks containers-4 pieces of plastic for each container,that includes a straw , only little kids used those when I was young.
It depends on what kind of place it is. If it's a place of fun and indulgence, whether young or old, there will be trash on the ground, but in commercial areas or other public places, trash will be less common because people are in a state of sanity.
I was just in Changsha for two weeks this past June. Very hot. Some of the street food I tried was better that what I had in the finer restraints. Unforgettable trip, will probably go back in about a year.

I’m surprised. I’ve been living in China for 5 years. All girls wear modest clothes and oversize. They can wear mini skirt, but the top is not open then. Very stylish. Many skinny girls, few curvy lines. And the behavior is reserved, not too open. The street looks more like Chinese street somewhere in Bangkok.
