I'm waiting for both Voltage and Trend Setter to arrive!!! I ordered both in the Gradient Charcoal. I have a couple of questions... When you put water on the wigs to emphasize the layering colors, does that disappear after it dries? Is there anything you can put on the wig to keep it the way it looks with water? Also, what type of dry shampoo spray do you use to tame down the extreme shine? I would like to use on my Timeless... You are brilliant Sandy, and thank you so much for sharing your gifts with the rest of us. You always entertain us while we learn!
Hi Kathryn! After you style you wig with water, you can always use a bit of hairspray on your fingers to keep the definition from going away as the fibers dry. Or you can use hair gel made for wigs to do the same. Here are two products that I like: amzn.to/48meb9u amzn.to/3TMNbMb The kind of dry shampoo I recommend is this one: amzn.to/3S5c4RX and if your wig is brunette, they make a dry shampoo for dark hair so that the residue doesn't show! I've had Voltage now for several months and have watched every review of her; I don't know if the wig I received isn't really Voltage or what, but mine just does not look like yours, or those others I've seen 😭 I saw how flat it was on top for you; I feel like I have a bee hive up there with mine. 😩 I keep wearing it, though, but I guess I'm just going to have to work on her more. I love your reviews. You look amazing in all the wigs I've seen you in. 😎🥰
Oh I'm so sorry Vivian! Just keep working with her on that permatease on the top. Run a brush through it to flatten it out a little bit every day, and use a little water, too. These have been dubbed my "Cary Grant" glasses by my viewers!!! I got them from Costco from their sunglasses collection (Kirkland Signature KS Lake Como)--they were on the display with dark lenses in them! I like to go to the sunglasses sections of any eyewear/glasses store because I really like over-sized frames. I just got them this past summer, so they might still be available.
