  • Paper flowers are so pretty and these cupcake wrapper flowers are so simple to make. Kids will love the scrunchy scrunchy part of the process the best.
    What you need:
    6 x cupcake wrappers
    1 x metal skewer
    1 x pipe cleaner
Place all six wrappers in a stack, one inside the other.
    Now press the stack flat.
Use the metal skewer to poke two holes in the centre of the stack, all the way through each of the wrappers.
To make the stem, thread the pipe cleaner through the holes and twist it to secure it (see video).
Now pinch and scrunch each wrapper layer until it looks all flowery.
    Pretty!
    Hints and tips:
Experiment with different coloured wrappers if you have them.
It also looks nice to draw a line of colour around the top edge of white wrappers.
These also look really effective if you make a bunch and pop them in a vase - just as pretty as the real deal!
