Underwater shots are always brilliant - it's interesting to see how fish react to things underwater :) Hope the video popularity picks up so you can do more!
Was interesting to see how quickly the barbel reacted to moving baits so quickly a real eye opener. Keep on keeping on the underwater shot were very well done 👏
Awesome upload mate, really enjoyed that. Love the narration, and the descriptions of tactics and reasoning behind it, really helpful, much appreciated and many thanks!
I think this proves a theory I've held for awhile and that is barbel feed is shoals for the most part. Every time i have had a barbel, I have had one either take the rod i have reset, or my 2nd rod pretty soon afterwards. Keep creating the great content, wish I could do same.
A great watch love watching these fish under water almost as much as i love catching them n would love a river like that to fish for them its absolutely stunning
This is what every fisherman dreams of… the actual feeding movements! Brilliant mate and let’s not forget all of the other underwater and drone pike hits!!! Total magic … just gets better and better… legend… thankyou 🙏
Great footage Chris, huge stock density in the area you were filming chub cheek to jowl with barbel. Just goes to show how important water craft and local knowledge is.
Hey Chris, have you tried fishing for seatrout in the rivers? I have been watching your vids for quite some time now, but didn't see that topic yet. Also, I'm not familiar with your local fishing regulations regarding seatrout and don't know if you have access to any rivers that fall in the sea 😅 Anyways, maybe check it out sometime, I think you'd like it
Thanks Chris another great video. I'm always intrigued to watch how the fish react to objects in the water. Makes me wonder if all the effort put into using discreet tackle is really essential when there are things like bottles and cans on the bottom next to the bait 😉🤷♂
What a great video. This is my kind of fishing. Without naming stretches what are these small rivers you fish? Im in lincolnshire and only really fish the trent.
Hello. Further to my past questions and your answer. Do you fish in the Milton Keynes area. I tried to Dropshot in the canal at Simpson/Peartree Bridge areas but blanked every time. Can you advise areas to try. I’m told that the huge distance between locks at The Red Lion Fenny, up to Cosgrove is the cause for difficult fishing as fish can travel the 14 miles or so.
all the rivers you fish look so clean and lots of fish, i fish the middle and upper severn and it is in such a state. brown alge no weed growth and i think there is no way back for the poor river. the water comanys use it as a tolet
Beautiful catch both on the rod and the camera Chris! Could you share what's the diameter/strength of the line and leader you use for such feeder fishing? Cheers!
Hello. What river do you fish ? I’m in Milton Keynes and the only river fish able is the Gt Ouse. It’s a deep river and me not being an experienced fisherman I have only caught Perch, Roach or Dave. Near me is a small river that used to be smashing, the Ouzel. It runs right through MK and you can count on one hand any fishable sections. Have you ever fished the Ouzel.
Fished the ouzel for years..... some outstanding chub and perch ..... if could only fish 1 river for the rest of my days it'd be the ouzel..... get some waders and push through the stingers ...... fish the lob and be as stealth as possible....
@@TR3VSK1 Hello and thanks for the reply, I really didn’t think I would get a reply. You have inspired me for the Ouzel, like I said, I’m not experienced at all, I use a rod meant for drop shooting because I can’t find a spot on the Ouzel where I can use a longer rod ( I have an old 13’ rod and the reel securing rings are so knackered I hold the reel on with cable ties. I own some waders and last year tried the section through Water Hall Park up to Manor Fields. I’m obviously doing it wrong though so appreciate more tips, especially where you think the better spots are. Oh and I’m 77 so clambering around river banks can be a bit challenging.
Hello Chris. Promise this is my last on this subject. Because of your comments I have just researched the river Ouzel from its source. It looks like the river you love is before MK. Have you any ideas as to what clubs I need to approach before I try to find a better fishing spot. I’m in the MKAA that’s all. Like you I cycle on my electric bike (6 years old and cost £650 new) so the car will be needed anywhere south of Fenny Stratford.
This river is like my local one from about 25 years ago, nowwe have the dreaded signal plague and to cap it off some moron decided to put otters on it even though there had neverbeen otters here at anytime in its history, we had mink buttheydont cause as much damage as otters.....the otters climb to raid nests....we no longer have barbel, zander, nice big chub, eels, decent bream, wild old river carp, brown trout, rudd, but could go on with the losses.
Ti si druže majstor ribolova. Najbolji video ikad.👏👏👏

Nice one!
Great footage gin clear water your gf is certainly a good luck charm for you. The humble garden worm what fish can resist the brown wriggler ! 😅😊
Welcome to the hour club my friends
I caught my one and only Barbel on Pepperami 🌶️🐟😊

Have you got a tackle shop?
You should sell t-shirts with " Not the biggest fish in the world" !! They look big enough to me
Beautiful catch both on the rod and the camera Chris! Could you share what's the diameter/strength of the line and leader you use for such feeder fishing? Cheers!
What glasses are you using? They look like they might be Fortis

Could you share your underwater setup?
absolutely hot fisherman
Found a huge dead Sturgeon in our canal in Barnsley least 20lb- 25lb
We never get to fish gin-clear rivers. This must be a syndicate water.
I’m first yea🎉🎉 epic vid
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍

I do enjoy the videos by the clickbait titles really put me off! 😬
How is it clickbait
Doesent effect you in any way and helps Chris to make a living and get his videos out there. Everyone wins in my eyes
@@Tasker2250 “It almost took my rod!” Bit over dramatic 😆
@@epick0jrrankos417 I’m only giving positive feedback, imho it’s cringeworthy and potentially puts viewers off!
Unlike other channels Chris does not do clickbait titles, sort your self out foooooool
