You can’t compare American CW to Canadian because they are completely different. In Canada it’s a spread that can be sold in giant jars. In the US the jar he shows is the largest size and it’s mostly a dip. It’s very bland and has the consistency of a soft butter....even when refrigerated. So needless to say, comparing it to easy cheese it can’t be done.
I don’t know if you can get that really sharp spreadable cheese...imperial cheese?? It’s been about 20 years since I’ve had it but easy cheese would be a cross between CW and Imperial but sprayable....

The fact that you never used the Whiz as intended completely invalidates this comparison.
It's like comparing boxer shorts and a t-shirt and complaining that the t-shirt's leg holes are too small.
Yeah the whiz isn't really mean for dipping. It's meant for cooking for example in Philly cheesesteak wit :)
Cheeze whiz is best if served heated up, and poured over veggies or snack foods like warm soft baked pretzels. Easy cheese doesn't need to be refrigerated like cheeze whiz because it stays air sealed in can instead of having a twist off cap allowing air to enter the contents in the container. These types off "cheeses" are yes "real" cheese but like most cheese you don't add it on just anything and rate it. It needs to be on certain types of snacks to get the best judgment on it. Sure seems kinda gross but much like cottage cheese I personally wouldn't add it ontop of pizza just because it's a cheese...js :) try cheeze whiz heated on a pretzel (baking kind) and try easy cheese on chips such as Tabasco cheese it'z or Rits crispers.
As a Canadian, I can say that's not what we have here as cheez wiz. I love easy cheese it's a slightly more fake cheese flavored easier to use version of cheese whiz. Literally eating easy cheese and crackers right now 😋 👌

Just got a veggie tray and cheez whiz to munch on. As well as hummus and guacamole.
You should have started with the cheese whiz since it isn't as sharp/strong. The sharp cheddar will skew your cheese whiz experience as evidence by your mention of banana.
Similar to going from trying sharp cheddar to say gouda or something in a real cheese test. Had you started on the cheese whiz you might not have had the same experience.
Also cheese whiz isn't sharp cheddar cheese, if anything it's more like a mild cheddar with a bunch of other additives. A better comparison might have been regular cheddar easy cheese instead of sharp.

You got to heat that cheez wiz up son. Go make up some hashbrowns, bacon, and over easy eggs. Stack them on top of each other in that order. then put some some cheese wiz on top and warm it up to melt and soak into everything. Then you can thank me later. Can't believe you ate that shit as a paste LOL

Cheez whiz reminds me of velveeta... not really a fan... I prefer real cheese to “cheese food products” but cheez whiz is what some of the places in Philadelphia use on their cheese steaks 😊

The easy cheese is sharp cheddar while the craft is regular cheddar. I like just regular cheddar cheese better than sharp cheddar
