I have applied to KAIST Undergraduate for Spring Semester and the decision comes out soon, hope to see you at the campus :) Also I loved this video a lot~❤ it was very well made and pleasing! You should have more views because this was the first detailed campus tour video I saw
Hiiii! I’m so happy you found the video helpful, that really means a lot to me 😊. Best of luck with your KAIST application-I hope everything goes well, and I’d love to see you on campus soon!
Based on my experience, there are definitely some big pros. The education quality here is top-notch for Korea, and you get access to some seriously advanced research facilities. Plus, there’s a huge community of exchange and international students, so there’s always support around.
That said, there are a couple of things to keep in mind. The CS department is pretty huge, so a lot of classes end up being online just because of how many students there are. Also, the grading system is relative, so it can get pretty competitive.
And while all the courses are in English, you might still hit a bit of a language barrier off-campus. But honestly, campus life is super fun and vibrant, so that makes up for it
Hey hii bro if you dont mind can you tell me a rough idea of your high school grades. Acutally I am very concerned about mine, so it will be very helpful to make me step futher..
Hey hii! My high school grades were pretty average too, so no need to worry too much! Just make sure to focus on other important parts like your personal statement, portfolio, and showing your passion for learning. Best of luck!
Thanks for replying:) Sorry but can you tell me one more thing that in the document submission you put your transcript or the official report card if you have graduated already.
I wanna take my master at KAIST in physics. But when I search department of physics in KAIST, all of the research about physics material. My concentration in physics is instrumentation, it seems like electrical engin and computer science. But, I really like to join at physics😢. Do u have suggestionmajor at KAIST for me that it's similar for my undergraduate? I search about electrical engineering, but it's so hard to see the website, I'm confused. Do u have website about electrical engineering in KAIST or another major that similar to my undergraduate? Cause I really² like KAIST🥺
Although there is no dedicated lab for instrumentation physics or engineering physics in KAIST, many experiment-based labs are focusing on building instruments for their specific research area. You can explore about each lab from the faculty list physics.kaist.ac.kr/index.php?mid=p_people1&category=193. On the other hand, Electrical engineering is a very big department in KAIST which consists of six divisions (Circuit, Device, Computer, Communication, Wave, Signal), but some labs may integrate across many divisions. If you are interested in these areas, maybe EE might be more suitable for you. These sites are the curriculum map and research area: ee.kaist.ac.kr/en/graduate-curr-map/ ee.kaist.ac.kr/en/research/

If you're interested in KAIST’s curriculum and up for a challenge here in South Korea, I’d definitely still recommend KAIST to you!

Heyy, thanks for watching the vid!!
Though I don't know many details about the labs, I asked one of my good friends who's currently studying in the physics dept and he gave this answer.
