Miss Nagi, I really appreciate your dedication to our culture and exploring and educating us on the Chinese experience during those formidable years. American high school textbooks might devote a half a page (that’s if it’s in a textbook!) about the Chinese experience during those (gold rush, railroad) times but I’m going to get a copy of your book for two of my grown sons who did not get the proper education regarding this pivotal time in our history. It needs to be a must read and this information that you’ve heavily researched needs to be available to all Chinese Americans interested in their past. Thank you!
