I like your comments on the choreography paticularly on the lift, I agree it definitely needed more power. NMIXX are hitting the right sound and I am sure that it won't be long before they become more popular outside of Korea. The sales of the Album Fe304:break has been extremely good given that they are relatively new as a group. Their music is not the normal k-pop style and this is playing to tbeir strengths because all of the group are excellent singers and their attitude and approach is refreshing. There is one track that illustrates their commitment to not conform to a k-pop stereotype Run for Roses in fact pretty much all of the tracks have something uniquely NMIXX. this EP is the most solid EP i've ever heard.In most EP/album there will always a song that will be a skip for me. but Fe3O4:Break is really good and it's one of the EP where i think there's no skip in it. Dash as a title track is also a solid one, altho i've seen many prefer run for roses at the moment, dash choreo made the song a perfect choice.
with the formation thing they used to be a seven member group so they had even formations for a good bit but jinni ending leaving for personal reasons so after that their formations have been a little wonky since they went for 1 in the front and 6 in the back to an uneven 1 in the front and 5 in the back and the weight share could've been because preserving air for the stage practice
i think you're not taking in consideration that kyujin has to do a riff in that lift... they're amazing singers but not that amazing to do acrobatics and do all the riffs and runs they do

They are million sellers, chart well in korean charts, more than 100 million views on their music videos and they have millions of fans around social media, awards and trophies of music award shows and music shows. I don't get where you get that they aren't popular or known off. Maybe in the U.S. sure there they are not known in the United States like most kpop groups, but in south korea and asia? They are currently top 5 in Melon groups charts that counts groups popularity and engagements on the internet and Melon. They are in the top 5 alongside Newjeans, aespa, lesserafim and IVE. And they are from JYP, one of the big 4 kpop companies. Currently #2 after HYBE. And they were the JYP artist with most digital points on korean charts, even more than Stray Kids and TWICE (the 2 biggest JYP groups) in 2023.. Oh, and reminding you that they are just a 1 year old group lol (2 years soon).. They are literally starting.
