Let's face it there's a lot of stuff in planners or journals from months before that you don't need on the daily. Even a TN has pages in its inserts from 4 months ago, I don't want to carry with me. In that case, I would like it to be rings, take those pages out and keep good things I need in, and put in new fresh pages ready for my go forward needs. Also they sell storage for your used pages anyways, like Filofax does. It's supposed to be limp, easy to transport, light and bring only what you need as well as great paper for fountain pens. For me, I could journal on loose pages and put them in where I choose (I like the choices). But say if I m writing a short story, it might be only a few pages, and then later I can put those pages with the rest of my story. Or, if I was planning out something, like operating a etsy shop, I could use it to plan for one month or so. If I was meeting with someone I could use the whiteboard or use this book to show my ideas to colleagues and later move the notes to the right place or store them. If I was using it for a calendar/planner I would only carry 3 months with me (no need for the whole year). Also the leather covers are amazing. Who doesn't love a leather cover? I've had my TNs for years and love the leather, and how they age, compared to other book bindings. It lasts forever. If a person likes to have everything at once, all their current interests in one place, portable, I think it's so great! I've used the Filofax ring planners at work and everyone asked me where I got them. They were so versatile for work because work is fluid, the product using rings is fluid. The Plotter is amazing, so luxe and for Analoguers and pen, paper and notebook lovers. It is expensive to get everything, but then the cover will last forever and it's just ordering paper and honestly, we've all been doing that anyways, and some of us would kill for good fountain pen paper in a planner.
I only recently saw the plotter and thought it was kinda a copy cat of a filofax heritage... plain leather, slim rings... alot in common. But it does look nice.
Does anyone on here know of any feeds/groups where peeps trade/sell their notebooks and whatnot? I'm looking to try a Plotter, but I'm not sure which one I want so I'm trying to avoid paying full price until I can get one in my hangs to feel the size/leather? Thanks!
This was immensely helpful to whether I seriously consider making this kind of investment in a planner. Thanks!
@@mike_qbik I haven't done it. At the end of the day, I couldn't justify the expense for it given what it is. They are lovely though!

Just bought a Plotter, and I’m really struggling with how to use it. Would like to get more of your thoughts on it?
