I love that setup! Is there any chance you can put up a list of everything you used to set it up, minus the tank? I'm currently using an AK-230 and it's a nightmare... I can't shoot sand through the trash pump and it gets clogged if the sealer is slightly too thick.
Greetings from México. Excellent sesl coating spreader. Congratulations 🎉 about the sealer....Is it just asphalt emultion or It has some kind of filler powder?
If I’m just doing driveways for now and not spray put just putting it on the driveways with the wand then spreading it do you think I still need a surge tank?
Honestly I’m no plumber but I could imagine you should be fine. But you can build one with a 3 inch x 12 inch steel pipe with a cap on the top. Really saves money and does the same thing as mine
@@jonathanwilk3077 id listen to Jonathan. More I think about it, you definitely do. Just make a cheap on or buy one for like $200-350. They don’t go bad
We already run one very successful business and are looking to add another revenue with seal coating. I’ve been looking at used rigs but this one made the most sense. I’ve built trailers in my current business but a few links in this would be great
That tank brand new is $4,800. You can build that spray system for like $3-5k (depending on your air compressor) that air compressor new is like $4k. So too answer your question $8-9k
@@ColinPatterson_ have you ever used trash pumps with sand ? I know people say they go bad but for the low price I would love it. I do this on this side
@@kostadinospehlivanis993I have have. I only have your diaphragm pumps. That’s awesome to hear💪🏻 keep crushing it brother big things on the way for you 📈
When we spray parking lots instead of taking off the spray tip we just gravity feed buckets to cut in the curbs. Or if the spray system dies on a driveway we can always gravity feed.
Did this for years never walked in it either, work clean an don't get it on my truck, i ran a clean operation, i had them change shoes an clothes before getting in trucks
3 cranks will spin 1 time, because you're spinning the small gear first, and I'm assuming the paddles are attached to the larger gear.
Great vid. Can you make one on how you keep the system clean?
I will for sure! We only clean it once at the end of the season. We run our equipment everyday so the sealer is always flowing 🙏😎📈

How do you keep the sealer from drying inside your spray gun ? And how do you reuse your brushes and squeegee? Do you soak them in water !
Awesome setup, rough estimate how much do think that setup cost you ?
I built my first set up for 4,000 total. Single axle trailer, 250 gallon used tank 500$ ( I got lucky on cl) air compressor 800$ pump, filter etc
Man you are killing it. You basically stole that thing 😂 big things on the way for you boss📈
I’m talking ten years ago when thangs were cheaper

@@ColinPatterson_ YES you need a surge tank. You will have to much back pressure and blow a fitting

Are your hose real connections half inch or three-quarter?
Awesome set up! Do you have any videos explaining how you like to bid jobs? I want to get into seal coating with my son.

I actually bought this all from my local stores. I can work something up! You are gonna kill it dude🫡❤️

Looks like hard work has paid off for you!!!!
Thank you 🙏 people like you have made it possible ❤
Hey man were did you buy the tank and all the bells and whistle i am in montreal and trying to find a good tank with agitation.
Very nice set up! I’m digging the water box In the trailer! Dope man I do seal and asphalt videos as well!
What size axles are on this? I have 2 3500lb axles and am worried if i fill up my tank, im gonna blow tires/bend axles.
This is awesome! It is going to help when I build my set up! Thank you!
Love to hear it 📈 keep crushing it 💪🏻

Air compressor runs on gas right?
Yes 👍🏻
Can you add a link to everything please ?
What temp do you heat your seal coat?
The sealer is not hot! Goes in cold
hey brother please do a video on the actual plumbing up close. I am trying to build my system
Yes sir! I will make a video for you

Why would you use buckets instead of dispensing from wand without spray nozzle?
Because these guys half ass every single job 😅

Great video! Thanks for the tips & tricks, also nice thumbnail!!
Thank you 🙏 thanks for making it ;)
Where to you purchase the bulk sealer. That’s the million dollar question
Very nice setup
Thank you 🙏
where are you guys located?
Do you guys flush the diaphragm pumps every day after use?
Nope. We only flush at the end of the year. We just recirculate and keep the sealer moving.
Where are you located? I have a parking needing a redo in Montreal, Canada. How much do you charge?
We are in America 🇺🇸💪🏻
what’s the name of the machine
The side rail is structural on an angle iron trailer. You're going to hit a bump too hard and it's going to taco.
I was thinkin the same

@ 0:20 ----> I believe you're half right. 🤔 3:1 ratio yes, but "it takes 3 revolutions of the handle to turn the paddles one revolution." 😉
A year is good 👍 I need more 😊

Do you work in the Pacific North West?
Nope! We are located in the east coast! 🙏

How close to 20 cents a sq ft are you charging? that's large company price right there.
So close you can practically touch it 😉
Are you able to go lower then that?

Make a video how to gravity feed the material!
Every business has different profit and loss no business is the same all depends on your overhead cost.
Yes that’s with out a question! Are you just telling us the obvious? Or is there a reason 😂
you say you guys make 6 figs, but i’m curious how much you yourself make and how much your workers make. just for transparency’s sake
I have a bunch of videos on the way breaking it all down
three cranks will spin the paddle one time *
No 😂
if your going to say how much you make you better have a water tank
