Hi 4K!! We just missed each other on Monday. You were at Echo Lake at 4:45pm and at the same time I was just starting a walkthrough audio recording of the entire park. At 4:45 I was leaving Rock N Roll area and walking up Sunset at 5pm. What a visit...Mon, Jan 20 was my first day of freezing, and then the rain...until it left on Friday morning. Rainy Tuesday was good and bad. The bad was of course the rain, but most rides were walk-ons at Magic Kingdom. I rode Tiana's and being a 250lb guy, the cast member probably had a good laugh by placing me in the front of the boat...well...when I hit the water from any of the drops, the water just poured up over the top and all over my lap. Then a water cannon hit my left microphone directly. It was soaked... so when I got into the little gift area after the ride, I changed out mics. When I listened to the recording later that night, the water soaked mic didn't fail, it was still clear. I could hear the water slap the mic which was pretty cool. At the hotel I blew it completely dry with a blow dryer and continued to use it for the rest of the trip. I always carry two spare sets of mics for those "what if" moments. I just flew back home today, Wed the 29th. Thanks always for the videos, and from being wore out from all the walking, my hat goes off to you, for all the hard work you put into these videos. Take care my friend!!
Hi Steve! Wow, I can’t believe how close we were that day! The weather was crazy cold and wet last week, I’m sorry you had to be here during that. But it sounds like you still had a fun trip and were able to get some great audio! Carrying two extra sets of mics is a really good idea for sure! Thanks so much as always my friend😃
Please SUBSCRIBE to my channel to help it grow and LIKE the video by giving it a Thumbs Up! Thanks for watching!
always love hearing all the loud bass from the sound effects and the pyro that shoots up from the indy show when in that area
Quite the tranquil video. So easy to get a bite to eat and watch everything going on around you. Thanks for letting us watch
It’s definitely the most relaxing place at Studios in my opinion! Thanks so much as always Bill😃

Good stuff 😊. Is it still so chilly 🥶?
Thankfully it’s not anymore! We’ve had highs in the low 70s lately and looks like it’s getting warmer over the next few days

Are they celebrating Luner new years at the China pavilion 2day ?
I’m not sure, I wasn’t there but maybe!
Does that Dinosaur have a name?
