This video only shares a title with The Fictionist's fanfic. The plot is very different though - if you haven't read it yet, then I truly recommend you do so. It is a splendid non-slash read:

Sooo... You can probably tell how much I adore this pairing by the fact that this is the longest video I’ve ever made.
The storyline of the video goes something like this:
When Harry is hit with Voldemort’s killing curse for the second time, instead of going to King’s Cross to meet Dumbledore, he travels back in time. Waking up in 1944 having no idea how he got there, he enrolls in Hogwarts under the name of Sirius Granger with younger!Dumbledore’s help. To his utter dismay he is sorted into Slytherin and is forced to share a dormitory with Tom Riddle. Having no clue what to do with the future threat of Lord Voldemort, he keeps tiptoeing around Riddle which the other notices. This leads to a confrontation in the Room of Requirement which only heightens the tension between them.
Over time they form something like a tentative friendship and from this their mutual attraction only grows. Riddle shows great trust in Harry by taking him to the Chamber of Secrets (not knowing Harry’s history). Sometime during the school year they find they can no longer ignore their feelings and enter into an odd and passionate relationship. When Harry gets his hands on Tom’s diary which is already a horcrux he considers destroying it, but finds he cannot go through with destroying a piece of his lover’s soul. Tom shows his affection for Harry by gifting him with Slytherin’s locket.

okay, so I am a big Harry Potter fan and I have to say that my favorite pairing has to be Tomarry/Harrymort. and my favorite types of fics to read are the time travel ones. this video perfectly creates the au!time travel universe, the ones that we read and imagine in our heads. your video was amazing. I liked and favorited it so I can re-watch it over and over again. thank you for making such an amazing video, especially one for all of the Tomarry fans. ❤️

I was not a fan of this pairing at all before this. What has made me change my mind slightly, is how you managed to edit an expression onto Tom's face that reads, "Come on. I really want to get to know you. Please acknowledge my existence." In not just one but two scenes. Hats off to you

Believe me, I know all about manip troubles' but I'm guessing you wanted Tom at the Slytherin table for storyline reasons, so kinda unavoidable, I guess.
And I've no idea about my own videos, tbh; I'm in exam season at school (basically the ones that determine if I'm gonna get into college or not, hehe) but when I get some free time (and my movies finish converting, 'cause my converter's a bloody snail -_-) they'll be the first one's I'll start making. And I've came up with a few more ideas since we last discussed them. xD

I totally understand, because guess what, I'm in exam season myself. xD I can't believe that my (mediocre at best) skills in math determine whether I can study law or not... halp! /dies

ErewinOfImladris How does math even equate (hehe, bad pun) to law anyhow? It's not like you need to figure out when the prison's gonna reach maximum capcity or anything or the number of people who've committed a crime in an ex amount of time. *shrugs^
And by new ideas, I mean a load of songs I'm gonna vid to, and a special vid that I'm not gonna say anything about (that's hopefully gonna be the first tomarry video I upload) because it's, well, special. xD The other songs I've now decided I'm gonna be using are; Stripped - Shiny Toy Guns, Serial Killer - Lana Del Rey, and I need to figure out a good dark sounding instrumental for my 'special' video. :)
And I've posted some new tomarry stuff on my tumblr, by the way. Just check my tomarry tag, or my page, 'cause they're like the first things on there.

Haha thank you so much 🖤 Actually this video isn't based on a fic. I added a small storyline in the description box to explain what I had in mind when I made the video, but that's it lol. There was some initial confusion when I titled the video "Solace in Shadows", as there is a fic by the same name. I had to clarify that it's just the title that was inspired by the fic, not the whole video.

Creo que el de la segunda película es más masculino y su voz... tiene una muy buena voz, puedo pensar que esa voz pudo ser la que sedujo a muchos y los hizo hacer cosas impensables.
Una vez le mostré una foto a mi mamá del segundo actor que hace de Tom adolescente y ella me dijo "quién es esa chica? y yo le dijo "Mamá, es un chico."
Me agradan los dos aunque hubiese deseado que hubieran mostrado un poco más de Voldemort cuando era joven, sé que es Harry Potter y ......, no Tom Riddle y ....., pero hubiera sido más interesante si no sólo lo mostrasen como a un loco todo el tiempo.
La película lo mostró como a alguien malo y sólo eso, Voldemort era un monstruo que únicamente pensaba en torturar y matar.

Has leído "The veredict of vagaries"? Es un Tom/Harry está completo y contiene también timetravel. Es realmente bueno, no sé muy bien inglés y no podría decir con certeza que autor escribe mejor, pero a mi parecer The veredict of vagaries es mejor. Hasta ahora es el que mejor, bueno para mí ha profundizado en los contemporáneos de Tom Riddle. Los hace ver más humanos.

I can't believe there's a harry/voldemort ship. What is wrong with you people?
It is actually a pretty popular shop, just search for it on ao3. I mean, Harry's role was to either redeem Voldemort through the power of love according to Dumbledore or to destroy him through the same. Harry offered it to him, it was Voldemort who refused to be redeemed. If you think about it, their connection through the Horcrux which literally a piece of Voldemort living inside Harry, their obsession of each other, Harry's strange dreams and the suggestive whispers, the wands etc. can very well be read as a very twisted tale sexual or even romantic connection depending how far the reader wanna go down the rabbit hole. Plus you have the Dumbledore/Grindlewald subtext going with not being able to save him from the dark, so you cannot really fault fanfic writers reading into Dumbledore's motives behind the whole power love thing.
@@JustChillingOnTattoine while those are a significant amount of the plots of that ship there's also like Dark Harry which covers a majority of Harrymort/Tomarry ships
