Awesome video! We just gave Marcello a ride back to Maupiti! Such a great family! Maupihaa is one of our favorite spots on the planet! Today we connected him with a couple of boats to send some stuff back to Maupihaa. Tomorrow we are visiting him at his family's home here in Maupiti... THIS is what cruising is all about! Being able to help each other out is such a gift. :)
I've been trying to remember where I knew Marcello from, then when you said Colin and Parlay helped him out it came rushing back... Just another view into who you sailors are... You helped bring supplies and Parlay gave them a few hours of labor, that probably saved them a week of labor. Sailors are always lending a hand, giving back, it's a great community of people, from all over the world. We could all learn some valuable lessons watching you just live your life. Thanks!
All the automation was one reason I wasn’t unhappy to retire from airline flying. I miss the days where you could be proud of the skill it took to get you where you wanted to go. But the safety and efficiency can’t be beat. So.. we suck it up and enjoy. And you guys are doing that in spades. When I heard “Well… that’s it for this week”, I let out a gasp. You sent me away in a Time Machine. What a great episode!❤
Cool beans on your transport. Helping out seems to be a common theme among cruisers. Parlay is on their way back to Tonga and weather permitting should be there soon. Thanks for another perfect Wednesday with the help of your wonderful content!
What beautiful people. Your so blessed having the opportunity to meet such people. But hey, you did deliver the president home 😊🤔. Keep up the good work 💪 SV Kiwi Lady Opua Bay of islands New Zealand 👍🏿
What a totally groovy episode. Congrats,, you got the President to his island. Lobsters for dinner. That plate of lobster would of cost close to $200 in Florida where I live. Yummy! Exciting look at your trips to come, scary but exciting as well. Damn, you went this episode saying you will be diving a on war ship from WW1 or 2. I am a total history nut on those subjects. Can't wait to see next week. Hurry up next week.
Warren you are too kind with your words. I do need a solid dose of "nerd knobbing" to make me tick! John will be happy to see this video, I will be sure to point it out to him. We are always happy to be hanging out with you guys. As I type, we sit in America Samoa, waiting on both your and my packages. See you soon in Tonga!
Unreal Adventure! Having grown up in an amazing town, being a local and sharing my community with visitors was a great honor. These people are proud to share their home with the two of you. How blessed are you kids!!!
Just love you two and your great videos. I feel a sense of pride at your accomplishments, I know that doesn't make sense. Your willingness to share, to love, to create friends wherever you go is what does it for me. Thank you.
When I was younger, I discovered the book "Dove" by Robin Lee Graham, who circumnavigated at 16 on a very small monohull (there was a movie too, but the less said about that the better)....with no modern technology as it just hadn't been invented yet. After learning about all the "tools" modern sailors have at their disposal, not only do I have an even greater respect for his journeys, but, like you, I could not even imagine leaving the dock without them. We are truly spoiled - in (what I believe) a good way.
You simply taking time out of your lives to take the extra supplies....Those children will remember you always. The stories they will tell their children about seeing you arrive with things just for them...Teaching such kindness. Well done.
I just have to say it again, your channel is so good and has become my favorite one. Your talent of film making , storytelling and teaching is next level. And honestly how, how, how are you not at least 100 K at min. Blows my mind. :(
Wow, thank you Brenda, seriously thank you!! Just kinda made our day!! We really appreciate you taking the time to message us like this!! Have a great day!!
Absolutely Fantastic, U 2 have become world 🌎 Sea Farers and video photographers showing places most would never see or know about. Also, Ambassadors of the Ocean Countries sharing good will, good times, and just being yourselves. Thank You. Jim & Rosemary S/V Alberta Rose
Thanks so much for this video you two! it really hits home with me because I spent my childhood growing up with these people in Hawaii and it brought back the same feeling of O'hana that I felt growing up. Sincerely, thank you... It's having a big impact on getting me to move onto my boat and sail west as well. You guys are the BEST. Jeff Broome, Portland Oregon
Great Vid....one of your best....the drone really showed how big those Mantas are.....WOW❤❤❤❤❤❤LOVE, LOVE, LOVE seeing their actual size next to Erica❤. Thanks for all you do. I remember Colin being there, I think someone he knew died in that pass, that's why he visited. He came to help them. Have to look it up. Thank you again ❤
Thanks, wonderful to see this WEdnesday episode/vlog! Looks like the next part will continue in epicness with the routing you shared. Thanks and cannot wait for next post!
Watching your videos, sometimes is better then sex, the adventures, the surprises, meeting old friends... I don't want to sound weird or anything like that, but, watching those rays and sharks, WOW!!!

Crikey it’s only a matter of months and you’ll be here in New Zealand. I’ll put on a BBQ and stoke the outdoor fireplace.
Parlay crew are still in NZ
Wow what an awesome episode! Just wondering what the name and the coordinates are for Marcelo's Island. We sure would love to visit 1 day!

I feel compelled to message you about the rainbow 🌈
Just for Erica, I am french and I can hear you talking with locals.
How did learn to speak french so well? Are you canadian?
Did you say a population on 9 or 90?
I started making bread, but then saw a meme saying you’re depressed if you make bread. Stopped making bread.
You've found another beautiful place, but it's not as beautiful as the people who live there.
Slow down woman. Allow your husband to speak. It’s so odd watching you talk over him. Ok, peace out.
