I've wanted to play cello for the longest time, and actually tried to teach myself how to play. One major negative: I couldn't, and still can't, afford a cello, so I decided to download an app, and read sheet music off of a paper. However, that turned out to be REALLY hard, so I gave it up for about 4 weeks. Then this came up on my recommend, so, like a normal music nerd, I clicked on it. You have made me decide to continue trying to teach myself, and by the end of the summer, I might actually be ok. Plus, a family member, of whom I believe also wanted to play the cello and succeeded, has offered to help cover the cost of actually renting a real cello. So, thank you very, very, very much for inspiring me to continue with this goal. And thank you to anyone who decided to read this long-winded comment.

Kim R. Cellos a fun instrument, you really should try it once, it can be difficult, but it's well worth it
Learning a string instrument can be difficult at times and takes a lot of practise and time to perfect. But it is very worthwhile and worth the time it takes. I dont know what its like to play cello though. I only play Viola. I think you should try it. But if you do take cello lessons remember to practise, practise, practise. As my least favourite quote that I hate with every ounce of my being...practise makes perfect.
