- I completed the Verkerk Volvo | Building the Wheels with tweezers & found a solution for the Mirrors.
I gotta admit the wheels in this kit are super nice but fitting them was almost an impossible pain in the ass until I used my imagination and solved the problem, I also figured a way to install the mirrors without causing any more damage to the paint, once these parts were fitted along with the suzies the model truck was then complete with the cab nicely sitting on the chassis.
Its been an amazing build with its ups and downs and if I ever had the chance to build another id jump on it with the knowledge ive learnt from building this truck.

Most definitely, Thanks 😊 feels good now it's finished and worth all the crap it's gave me along the way. It's pretty superior compared to the same old tamiya builds.

Looking great! Modeling can be like that, very testing sometimes but you don't want it to easy, that would be boring 😂😂
Cheers, yes very true, I enjoy modelling when it tests you, it's when you get through it, finally finish and look at it and that's when you realise it was all worth it 🙂

I'll do a video of the truck but I didn't build it as an rc as its really delicate and if someone bumped into it on the layout, the chance is it will break very easy 🙂👌👍

They're nice trucks, ashame these Verkerk Volvos are no longer available as the details are out of this world and I'd love to build another

Cheers. I used halfords rattle cans on this grey primer, bright BMW silver with 2 coats of Ford purple velvet the laquer 👍

Yeah definitely, it be great to have scale hardware in tamiya kits and door cards, lockers etc, now the mirrors aren't glued on and it's all together it feels pretty solid so I might chuck an escape and servo in and run it for a bit bro 👍
