Does it use the G sensor to start recording if somebody bumps into your car during parking? How long does the battery last if left without engine battery in parking monitoring mode? Thanks.
For Android, there is an "unreleased" app called Mi Dash Cam that works with the Mijia dashcam. It's in English and after connecting your phone to the camera via wifi, you can do the settings on the app. There's also an English version of the manual in the app. The app was made by 70mai. You can also use it to download and push firmware updates. Just search Mijia DVR on the Play Store and you can't miss it because it uses a pic of this particular dashcam as an icon.
I have the camera AND the English app, but.... there are just 4 settings you can change, all other settings on the camera's screen are NOT in the app (yet?).... Not cool. But, nice review, and nice camera, I got it in a flash sale for 38 bucs..... ;-)

on the sensitivity of G-sensor it automatically enables it when there is a collision, the snsitivity is quite high so its all good
