I love Connie’s pure, unironic enthusiasm. It warms the heart.
You all laugh. But I grew up in Jersey. In the 80's. I knew and dated quite a few "Cawnies" lol. And loved them all. Damn those were such simpler, funner times. How I long for that terrible over done hair, makeup, joisey brogues, and so bad it's great pop culture. It was so amazing growing up then and we never realized it. I guess we miss the uniqueness and preciousness of the present time a lot whether now or then. C'est la vie. That's life. Connie has a special place in my heart lol. Thank you. ⤜(-‿‿-)⤏

It's true! When I think back on my childhood, I think of warmer times. Simpler times. We played with dirt and saved stray kittens. Imaginations were so big. People were so funny! Thank you so much for sharing your experiences with us - I love these sorts of fuzzy nostalgic reminiscing comments. I get so happy when an 80s video helps jog a memory of way back when!

I once attended a Halloween party as a bag of leaves. In eastern Canada, fall causes all of the leaves to dry and fall, hence the name of the season. I am sure this happens throughout North America. So I decided to dress in a leaf yard waste paper bag and tape hundreds of leaves to myself. Well, it was a fun party, I got inebriated, and i left millions of pieces of broken dried out leaves everywhere. It took three days of vacuuming to eventually clean up the leaves. I made the mistake of having the party at my place and so I did the vacuuming. It was still fun and I am still convinced that 80's music is still the best. Thanks.

The best Halloween ever.
Me and Connie went all over the "Red Sun" District in Minneapolis and boy oh boy lemme tell you,we got lots of candy,I'm talking LOTS of candy. 4 Bags Worth! Everyone went to the same houses by using different costumes and surprisingly,it worked! We had lots and lots of Kit-Kats and it was the kids favorite candy. We ate all the Kit-Kats from our pillow case bags,and we got sick,but it was worth it in the end.

Anyways,the next day the 12th,we went to the store,and we used Jell-O for a brain dessert at a party! The End!

I love these videos, my father was born in the 80s in the south and he would tell me about all the fashion and all the extravagant things, he always smiles when he hears me listening to sade, Rick james, Wham!, etc, etc, he would tell me about all the trouble he would get in with a friend who is just like Konnie and another friend to whom loved that Konnie, my dad had so many adventure of writing bikes and stirring up a good party till he met my mom and even they still express their 80s and 90s heart with me and my sister's
