It was decided between liaqat ali khan and Jawaharlal Nehru that after partition the musalmans will not encroach upon hindu properties in Pakistan and the hindus will not touch muslim properties in India. What we see now is that musalmans have occupied hindu proerties in Pakistan but the musalmans have set up waqf boards in India and taken control of all Muslim properties who have left for Pakistan.

As a Pakistani I have been saying this on all forums for a longtime that Pakistan should allow those who left their houses at partition to come visit their houses and mohallas. Most of those people are no longer alive so at least give free visas to their children or family members to come visit their ancestral homes as a goodwill gesture
.Lahore was mostly a hindu city, thousands of families left their houses intact at partition never to return.Just imagine how painful it must have been.
Similarly Rawalpindi was mostly a sikh city.

We both nations chose different paths to achieve success and prosperity but question is where are we standing now?
The hatred we wanted to leave at 1947 is still there😶
Will this soil ever forgive us?
Won't the history judge our deeds?

"the hatred we wanted to leave at 1947" is not correct, actually the hatred tree was sown on 1947,seeds and sapling was being ready during the last few years before partition.we parted not to achieve prosperity but to be destroyed and keep safe the big powers by not being another super power who could be a threat to them.
