I have a bamboo spatula from Pampered Chef, had it for years. It's my favorite. Also have a cheaper one from Dollar General. I put both in the dishwasher on the top rack. They do fine. I just wouldn't let them soak in water. Nice Target haul. My closest Target is an hour away. ☹ Hope y'all had a fun trip!
I mainly use wooden spoons and I put them in my dishwasher all the time. I didn't even know you weren't suppose to do that, lol. Thanks for another great vlog.
I love my wooden utensils. I grew up using them but even though I was raised not to I will still throw them in the diswasher on occasion when I dont have time to handwash them and theyve been perfectly fine. You just dont want to consistently do it because youll make the wood expand and when it dries they can eventually split faster then they do naturally over time. The worst thing you can do is leave them soaking.

I use the wooden spoons all the time for stirring and the flat one is great for breaking up ground beef when browning. Also if you put one across the top of a pot with boiling water or potatoes, pasta, etc it will keep it from boiling over

Great haul! I ran in Target today to grab some hurricane prep items, and there was the fully stocked Bullseye Playground calling my name! I grabbed several pumpkins, the metal house and barn, two ceramic haunted houses and two of the Halloween candy dishes. I had those buffalo check pumpkin pillows but put them back. Why did I put them back?! Oh yeah, because my husband was with me and I was trying to show some restraint! 😂

I use the wooden/bamboo spoons and I put them in the dishwasher and mine have been great no problems I have had for years at least 5 to 10 years. Just put them on top rack laying flat and if you hand wash you should lay them flat to dry so all the water doesn’t pull to one end. Boy long text about spoons lol. A friend put that amber glass in the dishwasher and it all peeled off so make sure not to do that. I can’t wait to get to target now, last time I went they didn’t have their fall stuff out yet.
I was so upset lol I went to my target today to get everything you got in this video. But my targets dollar spot was wiped out! All I was able to get was the big and small amber colored jars like yours & the kitchen towels. Not a pumpkin left on the racks. So to make up for it I went to kirklands & hobby lobby and got A TON of stuff lol. Kirkland's extended their labor day sale until today with a extra 30% off coupon off everything

Hi Crystal, I went to my local Dollar General today and saw two large size galvanized trucks, one was silver and the other one was a white washed color. One has wheat in the bed and one had pumpkins and leaves in the bed. 20.00 and they’re are large ones.
Crystal Tara they’re are at the Dollar General stores where they have the farmhouse house display decor setup by the wall decor. The store by my house. don’t carry the new farmhouse decor, I stopped by another about 2 miles from my house and saw them. I was shocked because the trucks are so big. I wish I could upload a picture somewhere to show you what I’m talking about.
Crystal, if you haven't already, could you do a dedicated video to cloth diapering? I'm so ignorant on the process for what to do with/where to put dirty diapers, but I've seen a lot of research stating it is much cheaper! I would love to know what y'all do!
I'm going to use the white tier tray for my daughters kitchen so she can have 1 like her mommy😆! Found the hearth and hand tier tray for $20. So look in the clearance area you might get lucky!😉. Maybe without the kids tho lol.

So I was so excited to go to my Target and get those houses and houndstooth pumpkins and they haven't put any fall stuff out yet..🤨 I wondered if you decorate for Halloween then put your fall stuff out again after for November??
Sad!! It will be worth the wait though! I don't do too much Halloween decor, but yes - October for Halloween and switch it back for November.
I don't like the bamboo utensils.I have found bamboo utensils are very hard on my cephalon pots and even my Le Creuset. I even got rid of my bamboo cutting boards. Wood only! Your decor is too cute! .

I've always been leery of using wooden utensils and stuff because I've always been told they harbor germs and bacteria and stuff but idk if that's true or not but because of that I stay clear of wooden utensils
