*yes.*
*Happy mercenary(ies) noises*
*Stonks*
ah yes the so called invicible armada
You'd think the radio chatter would go absolutely nuts if a single plane was grinding an entire battlegroup of ships into mettalic dust.
I’d feel like at that point the entire federation airforce would be following monarch and be heavily trying to find his base
It would be like an Erusean seeing Mobius 1 shredding his country again.
"I can't believe it. The Aegir-- I mean Federation Fleet is sinking!"
yeah thats why i hope once the update that will add things like the Rafale finaly come out the dev will have put special dialogue if you do that
Oh, thats why Galaxy is in control of monarchs coms, and he’s used to it ;)
*Sees the 10+ missiles coming at him, missile trails and everything*
Yep, definitelly made by ace combat fans, no missle alert, no life.
He he he heeeeee 😈

AWACS: Monarch, what the hell are you doing?
Monarch: Engaging additional payche- I mean hostiles
I mean at this point they should be able to just send reinforcements to secure the city from the Federation after their ENTIRE FLEET OR TASK FORCE HAS BEEN COMPLETELY WIPED OFF THE MAP BY ONE HARRIER THAT THE SURVIVORS WILL TELL STORIES OF THAT PLANE SCARED SHITLESS BY IT THEY WERE BOMBED TO DAVY JONES!!!!! THE NEED TO EVACUATE IS NOT THERE ANYMORE THEY SHOULD JUST SEND REINFORCEMENTS TO RESECURE THE CITY
And for doing so I hope I will get a bigger payche-*AHEM* FAME YES FAME FOR DOING SO, DEFINITELY NOT A BIGGER *COUGH* paycheck *COUGH*
just pay up in gold
cash won't be sufficient after this sortie!
Devs: "Let's add a crack fleet in this mission to make it harder."
ACFan: *wipes the floor with the fleet*
Devs: "Oh yeah. I forgot. Ace Combat fans are playing this."
>massive fleet worth a lot of points
AC fans in general: It's free real estate.
There's railguns in that fleet. Sick.
At least there's not a million missiles!
Sad they did not put the audio chatter tho
Dev - I bet no one can beat this
ACF - Did i smell a challenge?
@Hunter6213 "Invincible Fleet" is actually kind of easy in retrospect. "Fleet Destruction" from AC7 is a lot harder if you're unprepared.
Monarch sleeps at the briefing again and accidentally wins the war instead of assisting the capital's evacuation.
Possible alternative outcomes that could have been:
1. Mission prematurely failed because you didn't save the units you're supposed to save.
2. Mission continues as usual, except other mercs will comment on how you're gonna be rich (or Prez being excited that she's about to be rich too). Being snapped by a railgun is optional.
3. An extra ace pilot appears.
4. The invasion stops right there and we have a branching storyline (impractical considering this game was made in a cave with a box of scraps).
5. Chatter shows Federation soldiers panicking and as a result they accelerate their war crimes while they can.
6. An overwhelmingly large number (and unending) enemy air units appear, by which point players will treat it as survival mode and players will compare scores against each other.
I like that iron man reference you had there haha
Man, a game made in a cave with a box of scraps, and this is the result ?
*SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY !!*
Lesson from AC:Z, never say "we are gonna be rich" and follow with "I even bought flowers."
for 4 they could just make the invincible fleet literally close to none existent like a few missile short of getting wiped.
@@LuizAlexPhoenix *sobs* ffs man
"Do not cross the line!"
Most players: "That sounds like it could be bad, better not do that."
Veteran Ace Combat players: "Finally! A worthy opponent! This battle shall be legendary!"
Hope they have more missions like this one and have their difficulties give veterans a run for their money.
More like "there's an instant failure behind that line. It will be removed as the mission progresses."
I'm a veteran ace combat player and honestly I didn't cross that line bc I was thinking that doing that would failed the mission, of course if I knew that nothing happens well yeah, I would cross that line at full speed and probably at 100 meters lol.
@@bushi6489 same here
@@bushi6489 Exactly, that warning made me clench thinking of wasting all that time shooting
AWACS: “Do NOT fly into the city”
ACF: “Haha ships go boom”
I was hoping there would be special dialog for doing something the game clearly never expected you to do. The sinking of that fleet should’ve stopped the invasion entirely.
Dialog would probably be like
Galaxy: Wait...Hitman 1 is engaging the fleet head on !!!
Ally Sicario plane: Well if he wants to die let him ! We got our hands full
Assassin 1: Anyone wanna bet he’ll make it out alive ?
@@hieuuc2539 Stick with Monarch and you'll make it?
It would have prevented the capture of the city, but the invasion would still be on
This was my biggest... idk, letdown? With PW. There's almost no flavor text, like there is in AC. In AC7 mission 6 there's a specific line if you fly through a tunnel in the northwest corner of the map. There's different dialogue in mission 11 depending on who takes out a platform first, the player or Wiseman. There's chat in mission 7 that specifically plays if (but only if) you manage to hit Mihaly in a dogfight. There should be something here for "Hitman 1 is going for the fleet!" "Hitman 1's taken out half that fleet!" "Hitman 1 completely smashed the Federation fleet, all by himself!" I mean I get why PW doesn't have any of this stuff, but it sucks.
@@hieuuc2539 *Fleet sunk*
Sicario Pilot: Holy shit. He actually sunk them all.
Assassin 1: Well that was unexpected.
Fed Ground Troop: Shit, they sunk the Battlegroup! Roll out the tanks, we need to capture Presidia now!
Fed Ground Troop 2: I sure hope he's the only one of their pilots who's psycho enough to do that.
Fed Ground Troop: Of course he is. If there were 2 of them they'd already have taken Cascadia back!
Fed Ground Troop: All allies, forget the civilians, target that plane up there!
Fed Pilot: But, aren't we meant to stop the civs from fleeing?
Fed Ground Troop: If you don't target him now we may not have enough manpower in later ops to stop anyone from fleeing! He sunk the Battlegroup, for crying out loud!
Fleet: "Hah, puny little merc pilot. It was a mistake coming here alone. You're surrounded now."
Monarch: "Oh, look. Money."
Surrounded now? Great! Now we can attack in any direction!
More like his nightmares! Seeing Three Strikes or a Harrier AV-8B is an ill omen.

Aegir Fleet: We are unbeatable!
Federation Fleet: *laughs in intimidating railgun barrage*
"intimidating"
ACF: *LAUGHS IN DODGE 100*
Though in IRL a railgun is a poor anti ship weapon. You can just very well poke holes in enemy ships if you don’t hit anything critical. Anti ship missiles and chemical powered shellfire with explosive fillers is the way to go.
@@hmshood9212 no its because they mean the Federation has railgun whi h they are using as AA weapons. And the Aegir Fleet doesn't.

The fact that they put the effort on showing us that the Federation is invading the city is powerful storytelling.
Also, more points and warcrimes to be commited
I've got good betting odds on this guy.
I heard target practice
It's not "too much firepower to take head on", it's "that's a lotta targets to choose from"!

Target rich environment? More like, free paychecks
Free Paychecks? More like incredibly busy area of free Capital gain

7:26 that is least enthusiastic Banzai I have ever heard
Indeed, I've heard better ones in Foxhole and War Thunder

@@deTr3kk3 ohh thanks nice info. The ones we do in Foxhole or WT usually means we're going on a kamikaze run/bayonet charge
@@reggiekoestoer1511 Yeah, because charging the enemy with a knife on a boom-stick than can shoot people from a few hundred meters away is quite similar to getting into a gun-range dogfight in a BVR capable plane. Interestingly, the battleships are basically Zumwalt Destroyers the size of a Yamato-class. These guys also do not mess about, they know something's up if a single plane breaks through the exclusion zone, the fleet just immediately sails away at full steam, also helps that they have Railgun equipped ships in the mix.
What will happen on the debrief screen? Is there any different dialogue if you single handedly blow up the entire federation fleet?
and oh boy the battleship is one thicc boi, about a dozen AAs and SAMs, and 4 main turrets. There's also Cruisers (I think it's a Kara-class), and LCS-Rs with railguns.
would be hella cool in their wolrd knowing that one plane single handedly destroyed the federation fleet
Actually the cruisers are Slava Class.
I really like how there were a couple unmanned battery ships along the battleship
Eww a Zumwalt look alike and the LCS? I’d rather see an Iowa class modeled instead.
Though to be fair everything but the battleship is an explosive piñata due to the way modern ships shit the bed in terms of passive protection.
AWACS: There's a massive Federation Battlegroup out there-
Monarch: What battlegroup?
AWACS: Nevermind.
I guess this is another reason why this game is made by another AC fan, we are masochist really if we're told don't go there because there are battlegroup danger yadda yadda yadda we go there and try to take it head on lol, I guess if we could take down the arsenal bird early we would've done it.

I wish there was battle chatter and the game objectives changed when crossing the red line
Wonder why there weren't extra dialogues when you engaged the battlegroup. Would be very interesting to hear everyone reacting to that, friends and foes alike.
Yeah, now someone who can think.
If a weapon can be small enough to fit on fighter planes, you can have one on ships too. Including railguns.
I think if they really thought this through, then the different story would be: everything's the same except that you get to save significantly more lives because the enemy will now have to focus on protecting their fleet being wrecked to shit by a single plane. The Federation would have to halt the capital invasion, and much of everything that can cover the fleet out in the sea will have to leave the capital to face a single plane that's adding them to its paycheck.
Well, technically HQ didn't order us to stay out of the port, it was just a recommendation.
