What are you talking about? Not sure how you find this song deceptive? Did you listen to the song? It’s about coming to Christ, old man to new. Many scriptures referenced in this song. It’s a testimony song.
@TheZachSilva When you said "You can't just say I believe but choose not to obey. These are the great words from the mighty Yahweh." You may not have intended to call the LORD a liar. Yet what you said contradicts John 3:16. Deuteronomy 4:2 tells us not to add or remove from the Word. You're adding obey to John 3:16 essentially. This is done with love not spite. May the LORD bless you with wisdom, discernment, and understanding. 🙏
@@King_Discernment oh yes one of my favorite lines in the song. Yes that’s actually biblical and not taken away or added, which if you want to take that verse you said in context. That was for the book of revelation, not the “Bible” as the “Bible was put together after revelation was written.
But If you keep reading in John chapter 3. You will see in verse 36 it says, “Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life. But those who do not obey the Son will never have that life. They cannot get away from God’s anger.” If you noticed, most English translations say believe and believe not. But if you look up the Greek words you will see that the first word believe says πιστεύω - pisteuō which means Believe then the 2nd one in that verse says ἀπειθέω-apeitheō which means Obey, for those that do not obey.
And if you ever look at Jesus Teachings in whole context you will see that this is true to His teachings. If we just believed ( like Satan believes) and not obey too then we are never really Christs anyways.
