There is oftentimes a curiosity as to if and how I am still able to drive on my own because I can't use my legs but thanks to hand controls that can be installed into any automatic vehicle, someone in a wheelchair is able to be independent and get around on their own.
In this video, I will show you how I drive, how I transfer my wheelchair in-and-out of my vehicle as well as the process of learning to drive with my hands.

Everytime I watch your videos i get encouraged..I feel that your ministry touches a large number of people who are either handicapped or stuck at home with a handicapped person..which sometimes just feel like you're sharing their limitations.not only daily prophetic are impacting..but your videos like these are just the same.More videos pliz

Cool video alwyn. Im also T8 and drive a jeep wrangler, but have looked at an amarok a couple of times as an option. However i am quite tall (1.94) and struggle to get in if the door doesn't open wide enough. With the jeep i made a small mod tot the door stop and it opens wider tahn90 degrees making getting in and out a lot easier. Like you said you learn yourself tricks to get around. Two questions though: 1. Did you do anything to the amarok's door to open it wider? And 2. What wheelchair are you using. Looks lekker light and strong.
