Jordan: Interview with H.E. Hussam Al Husseini , Ambassador of Jordan

I visited Jordan’s ambassador to China, H.E. Hussam Al Husseini and his spouse, Mrs. Amani Al Tartir, for an interview at the Embassy of Jordan in Beijing.
My team and I were welcomed by the couple with some traditional food such as the meat dish Mansaf, and we were introduced to Jordan’s time-honored coffee culture.
During the interview, Ambassador Husseini introduces us to Jordan and its cultural background, history, and some of the top tourist attractions.
Social and cultural highlights and differences between China and Jordan were also unpacked. Jordan, which the envoy described as a “mosaic society” due to its cultural diversity, is similar to China in many ways, he added.
Ambassador Husseini and his wife have wasted no time in exploring and experiencing China and its culture during their time here. Both said they have found the people to be more than friendly and welcoming.
I visited Jordan many times before, and always praised the country’s beauty and its people. During this visit, I congratulated Ambassador Husseini on his diplomatic achievements in China.
