Just wondering if the R34 has the same problems as all the nissan cars have according to Consumer Reports. If not then this would be a perfect car to own for more than 10 years without it breaking down.

Nearly 1200hp?....even the 800hp would be a stretch.i own a 850 flywheel hp R33 GTR and i know from experience when you put your boot into it theres heaps going on especially when you give it assholes from first gear this looks far too tame.

99% of the time when someone says they're 'putting down xxxHP', they're referring to max boost. No one drives on max boost. In the vid he probably was putting out around 7-800HP, but that doesn't mean he can't put down more with a boost controller.
Anernermus yeah I realise that people do that.Ive never fully understood why people do tho "oh ive got a fully built engine thats good for 1500hp but today its only running 650 because im a fuckwit" heres a idea why not build the engine get it tuned find out what power it can run safely and leave it at that then have a high/low boost within that.then if you want to be a hero and wanna prove to all your buddys that your a big dog do a power run on the dyno and see what ya can squeeze out of your 50k+ built engine.Im still struggling with your idea that this BNR34 was running 700-800hp in this particular video the whole package just seems weak but im probably wrong....chur
bazza H I was thinking the same thing It looks far to tame for the claimed 800hp it was running in this video, but I think it’s got more to do with American hp is massively inflated compared to Australian hp, I reckon it looks more like 500-600 hp, Which don’t get me wrong is still impressive and cool just seems a waste of a billet block when people are doing that on stock bottom ends in Australia
bazza H ever consider they keep it tuned down for the road and tune it up for the track. I mean that's what a boost controller if for so why not. Unless your trying to say the cars not an 800hp car.

My Toyota Corolla does great in the snow with bald tires basically too. People are starting to think a few inches are a big deal now though, maybe if we wouldnt allow them to "cool the earth" with oxides, we would be better off, but nah, no big deal. Anyways, I would at least try it with the skyline, I bet with decent tires it would do great in snow.
