See how customized care and world-class rehab facilities used by professional athletes enable Mary to get back on the court in time for her state high school tournament.
I tore my acl 2 times. The first surgery was 5 hours. My doc said it was pretty bad once he got to see all of the damage. I broke 2 bones in my leg, tore my acl, and tore my meniscus. Super difficult recovery and it took a long time. The second time I tore it, I opted not to get surgery. She really is so lucky to go back to what she loves.
i’m a national gymnast and recently tore my acl and shattered my tibia and had a reco about 3 weeks ago. i’ve been told i’m never going back to my sport. she’s so lucky
the shattered tibia is keeping you from coming back not the acl
Hey, hope you can recover and be a part of the gymnast staff, so that you van enjoy the journey. Wishing you the best.
im a year round athlete in 3 sports, having torn both meniscus (same knee) & acl during practice. 1 week post op & the pain is tolerable but I can’t wait to get back to playing already!
i had surgery on my acl about a month ago and i just wanna play sports again:(
I just got surgery this morning to repair a fully torn acl, and I’m in so much pain
Hi Breeeaad I had a double meniscus repair and an ACL repair using my hamstring, the pain gets better! Hang in there!
Don’t scare me like this man I completely tore my acl to and ima get surgery done
David Martinez haha sorry, don’t worry though the first and second day are possibly the worst, but soon after it gets easier. It’ll be tough but you can do it! Wish you the best of luck on your recovery!
Breeeaad 1 thank you 🙏🏽
I’m on day 3 of my acl recon with both meniscus repaired and wow That was 2.5 straight days of 10/10 pain. Anyone else who has to go through this god bless, the pain will be manageable in a couple days.
This is awesome man, I wish I could have such rehab and get back to the sport I love but it's not possible...I guess I gotta make the best of whatever facility I have
Aw, God's Got You.
Incredible!
i tore my ACL,LCL and PCL along with many injuries but the hardest thing for me so far is range of motion im at week 7 and im only at about 95 degrees
I’m noticing a lot of people don’t have the catheter for pain, I think it’s called a nerve block. I’m getting that. Recommend asking your doctor for it.
When she first tore it she barely had swelling blessed !
Im 8 months post opp and its still painful after exercise and needs to be iced. Sucks man 👎🏻
Hi I’m having surgery for a torn ACL and MCL soon. How are you doing now? Is it still painful?
@@icebox544 it took me a while but around 2 yrs it feels perfectly normal now!
@@icebox544 also, it wasn’t excruciating pain. Just more of a it hurts if you do too much. It’s fine now tho. Good luck! It’s no sweat you’ll be fine. Do your rehab exercises religiously!
i am getting surgery this morning. my 2nd acl surgery i am so scared
Same knew?
Hi, how did it go? Hope you're doing better or are on the way to it :)
@@jbusch7173 yessss i am walking now and jogging
how u re tear ur acl??
@@anmolk4909 you're at higher risk of re tearing your acl after the first tear, you're even more at risk of tearing your other acl after the first tear in the other knee
A young athlete shouldn't have had an allograft. Bad advertisement for this facility.
wow thats impressive, back to sports after only 6 months- Ive been told that its more like 8-12 month before returning to sports. Is this an age thing? I am a 29 year old goalkeeper (soccer)
depends on how much money you have.... the severity of the tear , who does the surgery and what sport..... she plays tennis.... ( idk how the fuck you tear an acl playing tennis) but its a non contact sport..... playing soccer , hockey, or football will be longer for obvs reasons
Oh same I twisted my knee at a soccer camp and it just did it's own thing. Had the surgery and oh so much pain I am in it hurts so bad.
Very much pain Bro.i know
I'm having high swelling below the knee...
@@markivs6132 Yes. It's troublesome especially getting around on crutches. But after a while it gets better and it's worth it.
No pain no gain, suck it up
@@vishaldhar420 What?
