The song shows the reality of the majority... but in a fun way. Terrific instrumentation. The extraordinary Frida❤ shows us her very wide vocal range... from the lowest tones to the highest.😍 So nice to see you again, Vicky! On this occasion I would like to suggest the first song of the band, presented in society: ABBA - PEOPLE NEED LOVE (1972) Take care, Vicky... See you soon ✌️ Love ❤️ from Chile 🇨🇱🤗😘👍
Thank you for your thoughtful comment! I completely agree-the way ABBA captures real-life themes with such fun and catchy instrumentation is amazing. Frida’s vocal range truly is extraordinary! I appreciate the suggestion for "People Need Love"-I’d love to dive into that one! Sending love back to you in Chile! Take care, and see you soon! ❤️✌️🎶
ABBA was one of my mom's favorite groups when I was a kid in the seventies. She had an 8-track tape of the album with this song on it that she would play in the car when we took long trips to visit relatives in distant cities. "Dancing Queen" was the big hit from that album, and "Money, Money, Money" was the catchy tune on side two. For what it's worth, money should be a means to an end rather than an end in itself, in contrast with people, who should never be treated as a means and always as an end in themselves. 8-track tape was a media format for delivering music that is now considered obsolete. The tape was housed in a plastic cartridge slightly larger than an ordinary sized human hand, roughly 5 inches tall, 4 inches wide, and 1 inch thick (13 cm × 10 cm × 2 cm). The magnetic recording tape stored inside the cartridge was wide enough to store 8 tracks of music side by side and the player would migrate from one track to the next every time the tape completed a full loop. 8-track tapes were neat in that they would play endlessly if you let them. But they also often cut songs in half when switching between tracks.
Thanks for sharing that, Mike! It sounds like you have some great memories tied to ABBA. 'Dancing Queen' really is a timeless classic! Your reflections on money and people are insightful too-definitely something to think about. Those 8-tracks were unique, with their quirks and all!
Hello , so nice to see you again reaction to ABBA songs "Money money money" (1976) it is a very good song in a different musical style, cabaret type, set in another era "Money money money" is the single that followed "Dancing Queen" and reached # 3 in the UK, #1 in Australia and several European countries. It is a totally different song from its predecessor "Dancing Queen" and also from its successor "Knowing me knowing you" This is the versatility of ABBA, they go from genre to genre, as well as from success to success The song lends itself very well to the brunette Frida's lower voice, the choruses are sharper in contrast (and very catchy) The instrumentation is excellent The official video is one of ABBA's best, very creative, it shows Them in fashion situations and also with their famous kimonos But a few months before ABBA premieres the new official lyric video of "Money money money" I hope to see you soon with more ABBA songs another suggestion could be the ballad "My love my life" (1976) in the same album "Arrival" theres a special video with shows only the blonde Agnetha also a TV perfomance in Poland 1976 with all four ABBA members My best regards to You from Buenos Aires Argentina 🇦🇷 South America

"Money money money" (1976)
it is a very good song in a different musical style,
cabaret type, set in another era
"Money money money"
is the single that followed
"Dancing Queen"
and reached # 3 in the UK,
#1 in Australia and several European countries.
It is a totally different song from its predecessor "Dancing Queen"
and also from its successor "Knowing me knowing you"
This is the versatility of ABBA,
they go from genre to genre,
as well as from success to success
The song lends itself very well to the brunette Frida's lower voice,
the choruses are sharper in contrast (and very catchy)
The instrumentation is excellent
The official video is one of ABBA's best, very creative,
it shows Them in fashion situations and also with their famous kimonos
But a few months before ABBA premieres
the new official lyric video of "Money money money"
I hope to see you soon with more ABBA songs
another suggestion could be the ballad
"My love my life" (1976)
in the same album "Arrival"
theres a special video with shows only the blonde Agnetha
also a TV perfomance in Poland 1976 with all four ABBA members
My best regards to You from
