This is the first and I think possibly only (?) live version I've ever found of this, lovely upload. I wish I'd been able to find an actual gig, "in front of audience" clip, but I think this'll do for the "Pablo Honey Live" comp I've been putting together
Please forget the words that I just blurted out It wasn't me, it was a strange and creeping doubt It keeps rattling my cage There's nothing in this world will keep it down Even though I might, even though I try I can't Even though I might, even though I try I can't So many things that keep, keep me underground So many words that I, that I can never find If you give up on me now, I'll be gutted like I've never been before Even though I might, even though I try I can't Even though I might, even though I try I can't If you give up on me now, I'll be gutted like I've never been before Even though I might, even though I try I can't Even though I might, even though I try I can't Even though I might, even though I try I can't Even though I might, even though I try I can't
there are two other recordings on youtube i believe. here ruclips.net/video/cU8VQi-eSYQ/видео.html&t=881 and here ruclips.net/video/9ojH3OQMvjM/видео.html&t=396
Many years ago, I had a vivid dream that took place in an alternate universe where Hawaii was a British overseas dominion. The dream took place in 1993, two years before I was born IRL, and I was a delinquent teenage Triad in this strange alternate timeline. The most memorable part of this dream consisted of me riding in a car through a suburb listening to Pablo Honey. The album felt so new, so real, it was incredible.
they were still quite uptight about rock even in the 90s; they banned creep for being too dark, and banned my iron lung for being "too heavy", yet they played paranoid android all the time 3 years later, which gets so heavy it borders on metal during the "you don't remember!" part. i guess radiohead were too big to really get away with banning by then ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
hard disagree; you, creep, thinking about you, anyone can play guitar, prove yourself, i cant, lurgee and blow out are all pretty amazing songs for a debut albun
Remember an Italian teenager like me, walking in the streets of Dublin listening Pablo honey, observing people around in a state of trance... 97-98
It was me!
this song is underrated,i love it.
Pablo Honey is pretty underrated honestly.
I dont understand the hate for pablo... its a great rock record. Its great for what IT tries to be.
This is my favorite song on Pablo Honey...i love it...this song is best played at 4:30am

I felt that tom's voice is like so sexy and insane in this take.
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Wow, this is a rather funky version! Colin is doing some great work here.
I fucking love Pablo honey
Best song ever :'(
I love this song. The bass on this one is ace!
Please forget the words that I just blurted out
It wasn't me, it was a strange and creeping doubt
It keeps rattling my cage
There's nothing in this world will keep it down
Even though I might, even though I try
I can't
Even though I might, even though I try
I can't
So many things that keep, keep me underground
So many words that I, that I can never find
If you give up on me now,
I'll be gutted like I've never been before
Even though I might, even though I try
I can't
Even though I might, even though I try
I can't
If you give up on me now,
I'll be gutted like I've never been before
Even though I might, even though I try
I can't
Even though I might, even though I try
I can't
Even though I might, even though I try
I can't
Even though I might, even though I try
I can't
I love this song, I wish they played it live some time.
Yeah..
this is a great version of this song! I'm surprised it's so hard to find them playing this live. thanks for uploading
Waaaay underrated song from The 'Head
I can hear the Smiths in this one...
Does anyone know any more live versions of this song? Seems quite rare
It was dropped form sets before Pablo Honey came out so this is probably the only live audio available

They stopped playing it live very early in the career
Steve Kohut along with how do you

Nice song .....😊😊😊
bassline!! Thom's vocal here !!!
BBC STUDIOS always brought the best from artists and groups that I've ever heard. Funny at one time they were anti-rock, go figure.
they were still quite uptight about rock even in the 90s; they banned creep for being too dark, and banned my iron lung for being "too heavy", yet they played paranoid android all the time 3 years later, which gets so heavy it borders on metal during the "you don't remember!" part. i guess radiohead were too big to really get away with banning by then

I'm definitely an old school Radiohead fan who thinks this was the good stuff, I only ever listen to the first 3 albums
You're missing out on some wonderful music.
Listen to in rainbows
Gosh💖
selamanya
Even though I might, even though I try, I can't find any more live version of this
second (a whole year later)
That guitar bit at kind of sounds like "Whatzupwitu" with Michael Jackson and Eddie Murphy.
Omg
:)

Please forget this album except for the song Creep. Hahahaha

hard disagree; you, creep, thinking about you, anyone can play guitar, prove yourself, i cant, lurgee and blow out are all pretty amazing songs for a debut albun
