THANK YOU for that PSA. I have seen so many people online (including other FNAFtubers) who have either not stopped their communities from being hateful or themselves being the hateful ones. And I’m just glad to have someone outwardly defend FuhNaff instead of having it be buried in their comment sections.
Yeah like, 85 is definitely up there but not out of the realm of possibilities for Henry in FNAF 6. It's not like he's battling robots with his fists, he's creating robots to do it for him lol
Most retirees tend to also go into their most creative hobbies which also support this. For example my dad and granddad both took up model making as soon as they took up retirement age. Which would of been alot younger. By then. I imagined with the constant mental freedom had building and experimenting he'd of been sound of mind and doing some of his best work unless Alzheimer's... But whatevers.
Plus, it’s possible that Henry has been working on things for a long time. By the time fnaf6 happens, he’s getting help in the form of Micheal getting the final pieces into place.
The biggest thing that is unbelievable for that age to me is his voice, but even then as long as he semi regularly exercises (and those animatronic parts do not look light) I could see him being extremely fit for his age too, making a decent amount of his aging less noticeable
@@miltortmanapaste6302as well, although never stated, I can believe the world of fnaf is more technological advanced than our world (two people were able to Make terminators in the 70s) . 80s might be the new 50s years old in their world.
As someone who worked in a retirement home, there are some spry 80 year olds. I dont think it's crazy to say a man with a goal and enough motivation would have kept in shape. Dick Van Dyke is 97 and literally wrote a book on how to dance around the stage like he does at his age.
@@RyeToast Exactly. Look at any apocalypse movie where there's an old man still kickin. There is a reason he's survived the worst at that age and is still going strong. If they hit the time where everyone else in their age bracket is in a wheelchair or dead and they're still strutting around they have a serious axe to grind and wont go down until they achieve it. That or maybe he plays Just Dance everyday like the 75 year old I know.
Honestly at this point, I enjoy matpat telling his story more than the theory itself, makes the theories feel like they have a purpose, rather than the sake of solving things.
It is genuinely a good timeline! A little fanfictiony, sure, but it's fun. I like hearing his ideas on things. I'm kinda surprised. No offence to Matpat, but he is known for being a little... out there? I'm enjoying it so far.
I think he started being less respected near the start of his gregbot theory’s, cause people hated those, before that though he was a lot more respected, especially fnaf 4-6 I think was the time he had his most popular theory’s
Tbh I think as well some people miss that some of his theories are not even remotely what he believes and clearly more in the realm of like a thought experiment, seeing how things would look if a certain thing (usually a particularly unlikely one) turns out to have some basis in the canon and give him hate for those kinds of theories when they're just missing the mark completely.
People have been trying to figure out technical reasons why Cassidy became vengeful and I just realized that this had never occurred to me, that she might need an origin story. Because I always assumed she was just (forgive the meme) built different. That she just got really effing angry. Maybe it was the way she was killed or the animatronic she haunted, but maybe it was just something that couldn't be predicted or duplicated. I always liked that idea, that Afton was lululuing his way through killing kids like no one could ever stop him, and then the ghost of this otherwise ordinary little girl -- with no special powers or background -- just went, "Not today, Satan," sunk her proverbial teeth into his ass like a pitbull and wouldn't let go. But if I had to come up with a reason, maybe she was the only one of Afton's victims left in a springlock suit. Maybe her death was slow and horrifying and agonizing, and instead of dying or becoming an animatronic, she got stuck laying the floor in a broken suit, and it made her want more than just her pound of flesh. That would make Afton's death even more ironic, and it would explain why she wanted him to stay alive and suffer when the others were content to cross over.
All I can imagine is little 6 year old Cassidy laying there and With her last breath just, "....this muthafucker man. Gonna kill me? Cool cool cool cool cool cool."
That has always been my first thought. This particular small child decided to say fuck that, they were going to be angry rather than scared. It's not that strange a coping mechanism, but not what I imagine most murdered children would default to, being the reason it's just Cassidy and not all of them.
@CopperWire I really hope they give her a backstory. It would be lame if they just left it at "random child is angry". Make Cassidy friends with Susie. She was the 1st. She saw everything. Cassidy saw Susie get murdered and became angry and violent. Attacking afton. Afton kills her. Just pissing her off more.
I mean if you look at the two souls in Golden Freddy: -Crying Child was tortured psychologically by his father and brother, made to go to a place he hated and was bullied for his brithday, only had one friend which was a plush toy, and this all ended in him being shoved into the mouth of the thing he was terrified of most and killed. And all of this was probably 10x worse because fredbear's was literally related TO HIS FAMILY. And yet, he was still able to forgive, forget, and move on. -Cassidy was murdered in a situation she had no prior connection to. And she acts like she's the specific one that shouldn't have been killed, all others were fine, but her? Oh thats crossing the line.
I’ve always loved Matpats unorthodox ways of looking at FNAF. Sure he’ll have the occasional curveball but it’s never without reason. He looks at all the implications and isn’t afraid to question the things we believe to be correct
Personally I really liked the time that Game Theory put out, and I appreciate how he is trying to come at the timeline from more narrative style. One big question that I hope he goes over in the next part is what are Shadow Bonnie and Shadow Freddie? One helps William to lure the animatronics to the back to be scrapped, and one helps release the souls of the kids. Why?
My headcanon is that they are the souls of former employees who died inside a Golden Bonnie and a Golden Freddy suit. I think this is the "multiple springlock failure" incident that phone guy references in fnaf 3. It would explain why Shadow Freddy knows about the safe room.
@@maddiek1314 Honestly, it could be that the reason Michael sees visions of Shadow Bonnie and Shadow Freddy is because he's still traumatised about the death of his brother and those suits are the last things he remembers seeing before the incident.
JR’s being the old Fredbear’s Family Diner is mind blowing. Drunk, angry and kicked out of “your” business just adds another layer onto the lead in to Charlie’s murder.
I just realised that Matpat's theory also explains how there could be nightmare animatronics with stomach mouths even if it is a bit indirectly. Basically; Nightmare Fredbear doesn't exist for most of the game, only appearing on Night 5 and 6 and replaced by Nightmare on 7 and 8... why does he appear so late into the game? Simple, if Matpat's theory is to be believed and Michael is who we're playing as in Fnaf 4, then it's highly possible that Elizabeth's death happens after Night 4 of the game; that would allow the illusion discs to create an animatronic with a stomach mouth to scare Michael away from animatronics even more... just a theory of course but I believe Matpat's theory on how Fnaf 4 went makes more sense than people give it credit for as it explains some inconsistencies with other theories about it
My favorite part about this timeline is unlike the other ones he’s made where it goes from event to event explaining the interconnecting tissue of it all, this one is truly a story, a narrative, that is happening to tell all the chronological events at the same time. If the Fnaf movie happened to be this story specifically ending at the point where William gets springlocked, it would be a satisfying, well made, yet long movie.
My view with Cassidy was that they were just a witness but was caught before they could alert authorities. It wasn't a planned death. This could also relate to Mat's very first theory, where the guy that would inspire Golden Freddy was the one the alerted authorities in the first place
@@kingofflames738 The blonde is "the one you should not have killed" and whose gender is meant to be somewhat ambiguous. I swear I just watched a video about this.
9:00 I've always said that it is very possible that the Afton family moved houses. It would make sense of the locations and it would make sense that they wouldn't want to be right next to Fredbear's anymore.
I have always said that it is very possible that that Afton family moved house's. It it would make sense of the location and it would make sense that they wouldn't want to be right next to fredbears anymore.
I *loved* MatPat’s idea about Little Willie A being inspired by Fredbear’s Singin’ Show, which is honestly not talked about enough. How far back does this all go?! MatPat is the frog DNA to Scott’s dinosaurs.
Something I only recently thought about for midnight motorist is that there this isn't any glass on the ground outside. Which implies that whoever was in the room wasn't breaking out, that something else (most likely whatever created the footprint) was breaking in. Or scott didnt feel like making glass shards pixels lmao
Eh, even then... in 1983, Henry has only 1 daughter, while William already seem to have 3. We don't know how younger/older Charlie is relative to the Crying Child and Elizabeth, but we can definitely say that Mike is at least 5 years older
Going back over MatPat's timeline, his main reason for starting it in the 1930s just seems to be the cartoon style of the dancing bear poster. But since the FNAF universe is lousy with anachronisms, I'd be inclined to just say that maybe it was a 1930s looking poster at a later point in history.
My grandmother's youngest son is almost the same age as her oldest granddaughter. It's not as uncommon as you'd first think for an older couple to have kids the same age as younger couple. Weird/fun to think about though!
Thank you for addressing the hate towards funaff because of his most recent theory. People take things way too seriously. These kinds of videos are for fun, even if a theory is demonstrably wrong and absolutely wild (not saying funaff's theory is) there's absolutely no harm in making crazy assumptions and seeing where they go.
One pet peeve that i have is that so many theorists obsess over the fact that Elizabeth's room is empty in fnaf 4. That doesn't automatically imply that she's dead. She could be absent for a multitude of reasons. If she was really dead, you'd imagine that someone would've cleaned out her room, yet we still see a Mangle toy lying on the ground. Personally i think Elizabeth has to die much later in the timeline, because otherwise why would William build child-capturing animatronics so early?
Another thing I haven't seen people mention is, Mrs. Afton might not be dead (at least not at this point, but we have no way to know), just divorced, and not living in the house. What if the room is empty just due to custody? What if Elizabeth is just visiting/living with her mother?
I really like your adjustment of events because it smooths over some of the problems I had with matpats. I think he's overall right buy with a few hiccups. Mostly just finding who died first is just difficult.
Great video! I've personally really enjoyed watching the GT timeline, just as I enjoyed watching yours. Also, thank you for the PSA that was very necessary. Also I think that we could even be a little more generous with the ages. If Henry starts out as a prodigy working for a knockoff pizza company instead of owning it I feel like we can push his birth back 5-10 years. Same with william.
@@RyeToast Technically we can push it even further, since Matt suggested that someone else was the one having Henry build these animatronics for the restaurant. Could always be something like his father owned the restaurant and had his whiz-kid of a sixteen-eighteen year old build up all these fancy animatronics. I mean, it's FNAF. Apparently, children are casual master hackers without people batting an eye.
Man, I like how you think, how you criticize work, and make respectful but honest and constructive criticisms. I have seen lots of creators criticize The Game Theorist, and to hear someone with such passion and respectful attitude is refreshing
I have a neighbor in his late 80's that still cuts down trees for people- like goes up on a ladder with a chainsaw and everything. He got a hip replacement a few years ago too. Some old people just keep going.
Yeah, my dad's the same way - spent a couple of days over the space of a summer in a climbing harness up a 70ft tree lowering its height with a chainsaw so he could eventually cut the whole thing down without smashing the surrounding buildings
Honestly I'm LOVING this new timeline he made because is less "ok, here's my spreedsheet of how everything is connected and the order of events" and more "Let me tell you a story" It's so much more enjoyable, but not saying the oher way isn't. Honestly, even if some points might be wrong, I'm still liking what he is cooking. REALLY looking forward to part 3 ^^
Has it ever been considered that Yellow guy in Midnight Motorist is just William before becoming a murderer? We know that the only other purple guy is Michael in Fnaf4 after his body rots. What if William turning purple is a symbolism of his morality rotting, turning our view of him purple after he becomes the murderer? That could then explain the two different shades of yellow texts we see spoken through fredbear at the end of Fnaf4, before Michael turns purple literally and William turning purple figuratively
You know i like that a lot actually. I'll have to think about that and see if I can work that into a timeline. If I do, are you comfortable with a shout-out?
I always kinda thought he was not literally purple. I think its probably to represent the fact that the lighting is bad and hes a bit shadowy. Especially since purple is used to represent shadow in retro games.
14:55 I totally agree with you on this one, Theories are questions, and no one should belittle anyone just bcoz they asked a question everybody knows the answer of, you can tell them the answer and be like "Lol u didn't know that" also remember Matpat is a man of focus and will barely make a stupid theory, he always thinks b4 acting, I never questioned his ideas (except the FNAF dream theory)
I've been thinking a lot about what BV saw, and I think he could've saw a springlock accident. Thus the stomach mouths, he thought Fredbear was "eating" a random guy, when really the Fredbear springlock suit malfunctioned and killed a random employee. Doesn't help that fnaf 4 implies you can see the performer's actual head in the suit. Imagine seeing the aftermath of a springlock accident as a child, blood on the floor, eyes of a person rolled back. Terrifying stuff.
That is entirely possible. Only hesitate because the only time we've heard mention of the spring lock failure was it being the reason to stop using them. So the fact that we still seen them being used makes me think that it might not have happened yet.
have watched this vid a few times already bc i like to rlly take it all in, but the one thing that i am rlly in love with is the way you addressed the negativity in the community. i think this is a HUGE issue in fan communities/stan culture, and i must say im so happy about the way you brought this up. i rarely see creators hold the community responsible, and when they do they tend to sugar coat. the way you so matter of factly and seriously addressed it is amazing fr. i gasped the first time and out loud said to myself, "OKAY RYE GO OFF". i am so so proud and happy about what you said, i think ppl forget that hate is hate bc its the internet, but youre absolutely right. this community is about discussion and nothing good comes from hate. ever. i really hope that people hear you this time. as self proclaimed nerds that have spent ten years worried more about a PIZZA BEAR instead of our homework... youd think that we wouldnt perpetuate hate in our safe communities and spaces. LOVE YOU you deserve all the hype
Ryetoast is genuinely such a nice, honest guy. It's really commendable-, Especially with him going out of his way to defend FuhNaff the way he did. He didn't sugarcoat it, and he got straight to the point. Genuine respect all the way from me, my man. I also loved Matpat's timeline! And the things you bring up addressing some of the more common questions about the theory are really interesting as well. Keep up the good work, and stay Toasty >:D
I think the stomach-mouth thing can be easily explained. The bunker was presumably built after Circus Baby's Pizza World was canceled, so by the time Mike was brought to the Observation Room CC/BV and Elizebeth would already both be dead.
I've been watching a lot of different timeline theories lately and I've just been running up against the same issue. None of them really feel right or satisfying because they have to make so many leaps and stretches to justify where Elizabeth's death and the funtime creation goes, and Afton's motivation for becoming a murderer. These two things just make every timeline feel...not right because you basically have to write fanfiction for anything to work, and they're right at the start of the timeline, everything has to be built off of that fanfiction.
I hope Mat sees this, this definitely will help him and his crew out in trying to find the definite lore of the game. Different perspectives based on the info given with both being very plausible is always a W in trying to figure this *diabolical* lore.
I thought the toy animatronics not actually being possessed but affected by the old animatronic parts made perfect sense for a while, so cool to see you feel the same way!
I love the psa. Constructive criticism will always be better than screaming matches. I like to think the fanf timeline is like the story of dhmis, it’s up to your own interpretation. There is no set in stone story.
I thing that people overlook is that the 'Fredbear's Sining Show' poster is in black and white, so they assume it's the 1930s, but the first coloured poster didn't exist until the 1970s, meaning William probably isn't that old
The timeline was awesome, I've never actually thought about the layout of MM and connected it to FNAF 4! Also, thank you for addressing the last part about FuhNaffs theory, because I also got hated on in the comments for encouraging FuhNaff to keep the well researched theories up and for even partly agreeing with the theory, which is just a big problem in my opinion, so thanks 👍
It would make sense that Henry is younger then William, considering by the time of Fazbear's family diner William has Micheal and Evan who's ages are unknown but one is clearly a teen, meanwhile Henry has Charlotte and Sammy who would have been around Evan's age, meaning either Henry is younger then William or Henry started his family later in life.
I'm happy that someone said something about the aggression towards new theories. People were getting way too heated at fuhnaff because they didn't like his theory. I understand being passionate but being passionate isn't an excuse to be a dick
I agree! Also, you should check out Dmuted's midnight motorist video, it's a really cool theory that I've never heard before. It's definitely very interesting and I think he raises some good points that could help us figure out what midnight Motorists really is :D
Midnight motorist video. It's really cool theory I have never heard before. It's differently every interesting and I think he raises some good points that could help us figure out what midnight motorist really is D
I think the main reason the timeline videos are doing good so far is because we’re still in the click team era of the games (1-6), which is probably the part of the timeline most of us agree on and is mostly solved. These first couple videos are mainly going to be recaps of what we already know. We haven’t hit Help Wanted, Special Delivery, and Security Breach yet, AKA the era of the controversial theories. But what this timeline is going to prove, I think, is that Fnaf 6 should’ve been it. Fnaf 6 was the best possible and perfect ending to the franchise.
Honestly, "After UCN" Part of story seems missing something, it's not that it's incomplete it's feels like we don't have that 1 piece to complete the puzzle not to mention the star rating and multiple endings of SB really turn the whole thing upside down, we do have multiple ending in FNAF before(it was on 2 or 3 been a minute), the thing is they tell one story but SB ending tells ENTIRELY a different scenarios that makes a LOT of contemplation
@@darkerrex1442 Yeah, I agree with you. I think we would’ve been better off with FNaF 6 and UCN closing up the story, and Help Wanted + VR being a total reboot with a new story and whatnot. It’s like they tried so hard to make these games connected to the old ones that solving the sb lore is just boring. I don’t think Glitchtrap should’ve been actually William, I think it should’ve just been a manifestation of his rage or something…but Burntrap makes that impossible. I may release my own theory video some time in the future, so keep a lookout 👀
Great theory!!! Personally, I think charlottes death comes in the time of the MCI, as Afton exacts revenge on CC’s bullies. In response to the first few killings, Henry builds the security puppet, which Afton takes as an insult in his drunken anger. He kills charlotte, and the timeline continues as normal.
From what I could find, dancing bear shows weren't made illegal until the 70s so it could be it started in the 30s and in the 40s-50s he saw it as a kid. Making him in his early 20s in the 60s-70s to start his company.
Holy- He got serious REAL QUICK with that PSA. I'm not saying that acting like people have on FuhNaff's video were in the right, no they were completely mean and it was uncalled for. But damn, RyeToast might just be able to rival Henry's FNaF 6 speech.
I appreciate that 💚 I actually said some harsher things in the recording, but I cut them because at the end of the day people could just be going through a rough spot and lashing out.
Not even done with the video but thank you for the PSA segment. It's hard to believe a community so invested into theorizing, could be so against coming up with new ideas and questions. There is no excuse for it, and definitely is not something I tolerate. 🐻❤
DUDEEE i agree so much with telling people to chill. like COME ON BRO its a gameee. and it doesn't deserve hate. Scott never wanted people to get hate or fight over stupid stories bro. Like all the ideas that the community brings are cool and it should be looked into because lets not forget, NONE OF THIS IS CONFIRMED. Scott has yet to CONFIRM any actual story, so anything can really be changed or added/taken from.
LOUDER FOR THE PEOPLE IN THE BACK RYETOAST!!! 🙌🙌🙌Thaaaank you for the PSA. People get sooo hurt about other theories/perspectives that don't match their own, I don't understand why!!
17:20 I really hope the idea of withered --> toys ---> funtimes gets more attention. It makes so much sense and helps clear up a lot of issues with that part of the franchise.
I'm glad you think so! I really think it helps explain everything around that section, cause if he needed more material he would THEN need the FNAF 1 animatronics
I’ve personally made a very straight to the point and functional timeline, without considering motivations and logical human emotions (since I doubt Scott was thinking about them in the earlier games). It does mostly follow the idea that molten Freddy and scrap baby hold every soul of the children except for Cassidy and The Crying Child’s. It also decides that Michael is the main character of most of the FNAF games. (I despise trying to fit sister location into the timeline lol). But I think the timeline can be decently cut and dry for lack of a better term.
Not going to lie, the PSA section was a major reason why I wanted to subscribe to you. I’m so glad you called out the toxic behavior others had just because they disagreed with something so thank you Also, you know cause you make good content and good theories but the PSA was a major part
I think what people are missing is that matpat’s reason to put the starting date in the 30’s (besides the poster having an older art style) is that he’s linking the dancing bear show to real life animal singing shows happening around WWII. And also he’s linking the 50 cents price tag for the show to the Great Depression and consequently, people not having enough money for entertaining themselves, he weirdly spends a lot of time justifying that point at the beginning of part 1 (I know it’s a weird reasoning but that’s his words not mine; I just wanted to clarify that part because I see a lot of people confused about the choice of timing it so early)
That PSA was really great! I was actually wanting to get into a sector of theorizing space, but hadn't because I was a bit afraid of garnering some hate. I'm probably going to try getting into writing some stories of theories (fan-fiction) thanks to your encouraging words! Y'all are pretty great!
13:33 fr I agree, thank you for saying this. I imagine as a RUclipsr you must see obnoxious commenters who are apart of the community as hate filled, but as someone who doesn’t own a channel I notice this with some fnaf RUclipsrs and while I still (somewhat) enjoy their content it’s absolutely obnoxious and annoying. Again, thank you!
Honestly i like your theorys a lot They always make a lot of sense because you just explain them so well. And the fact that you also show us more complex theorys and explain them so we can understand it better Love your videos man keep doing this great work Specially the backrooms stuff. This is SO good
I really enjoy your, fahnaff, matpat and razzbowski’s videos ….you guys are all who got me into fnaf in the first place ,and afew other games keep doing what your doing cuz it’s great! ☺️
We can all offer different perspectives. I love watching all the theory videos. It is so much fun. My son introduced me to this while he was growing up. It reminds me of the fun we had and is comforting since he joined the military and is far away.
My them straight up told people to do better. 100% with you on that, I don't understand why people in the theorizing community would be so vitriolic to new theories, it feels incredibly counter intuitive to me, but straight up insulting people because they think a games story is different than you is a whole new level of nuts. Great analysis video btw, looking forward to the next one!
Thank you! I always thought using the first missing childrens incident (aka the original animatronics) as remnant for the SL animatronics was weird. Like, the ending in FNaF 3 was releasing those souls---so why would they come back as Ennard? They've already been freed...Also in FNaF 3, you can see the masks of the toys sitting in a box, they were torn apart, while the old animatronics got refurbished in FNaF 1 (and their parts later reused for horror attractions in FNaF 3). I thought that during the second missing childrens incident, those souls latched onto the toys, and so William disassembled the toys and used those kids for Remnant.
I think I figured out the empty girl's room! Elizabeth has not been born yet; it's why Mrs. Afton is not at home. She is pregnant at the hospital, so she is not watching Michael and Evan. Both parents are gone, so Michael is looking after his little brother without adult supervision. Later after CC is dead and Elizabeth is born William keeps Michael away from her, so he doesn't kill her too; which is why Baby doesn't recognize Michael in Sister Location. If anyone can think of any more connections, please comment.
I'm glad that RyeToast defended FuhNaff there lol, FuhNaff's theory isn't good, but the person itself doesn't have to be attacked because of a bad theory. Especially when MM is so cryptic itself.
Just an idea that I had regarding Midnight Motorist, could the yellow guy be Henry? Hear me out, the books say that Henry has a son named Sammy which would explain the “he” referenced by the wife. In the game universe, Henry never successfully makes a creepy doll version of Charlie that would scare off his wife (who takes Sammy with her), but what if he took up drinking in his grief? What if his daughter is in an unmarked grave because he was trying to recreate her? What if Afton still resented Henry enough to try going after Sammy next? That’s just a few ideas, but a lot clicks for me when I think of it in that context. Please let me know if any of that is openly disproved (I am legitimately curious to know if I’m just crazy).
thank you so much for the 'psa' part!! you are so correct with that! I got a few theories myself that I ashare with my friend, and we just like to brainstorm together. when I dont agree, I will think: 'thats just a theory'. it are brainstorms, questions, things without clear answers. people, dont be toxic and act like you are so correct, even tho when you think you are. stay kind people.
I think you so much for the PSA you're you are so correct with that I got a few theories to myself that I ashare with my friends and we just to brainstorm together. When I don't agree will think that's just a theory. It are brainstorming question things with a clear answers. People don't beat us again act like you are so correct even though when you think you are. Stay kind people.
This is my first video I’ve seen of yours but I love how you discuss and not argue. It’s a breath of fresh air after seeing so many people just shoot down what they don’t agree with and leave no room for discussion. Also that psa was definitely a needed thing and not just for fnaf fans, but for all fandoms honestly. Absolutely subscribing
!! YES thank you, for finally making that point. The way people jump on the hate bandwagon is frankly embarrassing, childish, not constructive and a waste of time & energy. If someone is really invested SO DEEPLY, why not try & translate that into making your own video, or maybe creating some kind yet constructive feedback? Or, if that's not your style, click off & keep looking at theories that make sense to you. The youtube world doesn't need to know that you stopped watching because of a personal opinion. I really appreciate that note - and your note about theory dissection in general. The way you work around other's theories with kindness, grace, and thought & the constant memory that PEOPLE are behind these videos, sets your FNAF videos apart. I always feel safe watching them; because I don't have to worry about defending a theory I like, hearing something negative about someone I think is doing a great job or have to hear someone tear a theory to the ground and then go straight into creating an equally creative and non-lore based theory!!
Also just to note - love being able to at least smally support you as a member on here! Some months get a bit messy, so there may be some day/week lapses; but I'll always come back! (unironic reference there)
Thank you so much! And to note, as much as I appreciate your support please keep in mind that your needs come first! Gotta look out for number one always, and never feel bad if you can't or don't financially support creators! Just watching and commenting is already a wonderful help, the rest are just amazing cherries on top
Thank you for the PSA, the more the community works together the better the theories will become. No good can come from bullying each other just because we don't agree on a theory. We can have fun trying to solve the lore, but all the fun is gone if we try to smite other theorists over a small disagreement on the lore of a FICTIONAL GAME. Props to you for having the guts to call it out in a video too.
Love your channel! 💙 *Love how you share your thoughts/theories, without being condescending or passive-aggressive.* You're cool and down to earth. Thanks for the videos 😊🙏🏾
I don't mind who is right and who is wrong, is fun to think about this stuff and discussing with my friends every detail in a good way, sometimes we call each other and say stuff like: did you see what GT/Fuhnaf/Rye/Dawko etc... upload this morning/afternoon/night? And start talking in the chat group, sometimes even have a meeting with snacks and sodas to see videos, play fnaf videogames and talk about what we like. We do the same for the Legend Of Zelda, so, is fun, it gave me a reason to find new friends... so, i am happy with all this!
Very based video. I never understood anyway why people get so caught up about theories over video games. Even if they are over the top or whatever, it doesn't hurt anybody, right? Also, Matpat said on multiple occasions now that he does not always likes his theories, even if he thinks they are right (Not in a self righteous way like people like to assume, but in a "I came to this conclusion and based on the evidence we have right now I think that it's true" - way).
As a culinary student who grew up with fnaf this channel is amazing, and I’m kinda upset I only recently found out about you, this is great content because it’s about BREAD and FnaF, that’s like, two of my favorite things on the planet
thank you for talking about the hate that people are getting for just making theories. that's been bothering me a lot lately and makes it a lot harder to have fun in this community. this is exactly why i always love coming to your videos, i really love the way you think about things. thanks for always making great content and being awesome.
the way i see it, as well: make as many crazy theories as possible. its so fun to think about i will never understand people who get mad about things like this. we don't know the answers so why not bring new ideas to the game. i'm always more inspired to keep theorizing when i see a theory i don't necessarily agree with.
bro i love your content so much 😩🙏 i recently got back into fnaf after a few years and you have been my favorite creator i have found ever since coming back in the scene, keep it up!

THANK YOU for that PSA. I have seen so many people online (including other FNAFtubers) who have either not stopped their communities from being hateful or themselves being the hateful ones. And I’m just glad to have someone outwardly defend FuhNaff instead of having it be buried in their comment sections.
It’s like that for most fan bases. People need to chill. It’s just fiction at the end of the day.
YEAH, THERE ARE SO MANY PEOPLE BEING SO MEAN TO JOHN FOR NO REASON. Like okay you don't agree why do you have to be so rude??
people really seem to forget the concept of fun
For real. Can’t we all just get along?
RUclipsrs should do this more often. I've been liking Rye's videos for a while now, today he also earned my respect
My grampa is 75 and he still works as an electrician. I can totally believe that Henry is 85 at the end of fnaf 6
And almost no one would have motivation like Henry
I've been hearing a lot of people, even like Game Theory haters (I'm not saying you are don't worry), saying how good the part 2 was
I think he started being less respected near the start of his gregbot theory’s, cause people hated those, before that though he was a lot more respected, especially fnaf 4-6 I think was the time he had his most popular theory’s
Never have I agreed to a comment more, brotha
Matpat either sometimes has 100% accurate theories that i think are right, or they are super wrong in my eyes 😂😂
That would make Afton's death even more ironic, and it would explain why she wanted him to stay alive and suffer when the others were content to cross over.
i LOVE that idea and that is definitely going in my headcanon bin
All I can imagine is little 6 year old Cassidy laying there and With her last breath just, "....this muthafucker man. Gonna kill me? Cool cool cool cool cool cool."
That has always been my first thought. This particular small child decided to say fuck that, they were going to be angry rather than scared. It's not that strange a coping mechanism, but not what I imagine most murdered children would default to, being the reason it's just Cassidy and not all of them.
@CopperWire
I really hope they give her a backstory. It would be lame if they just left it at "random child is angry".
Make Cassidy friends with Susie. She was the 1st. She saw everything. Cassidy saw Susie get murdered and became angry and violent. Attacking afton. Afton kills her. Just pissing her off more.
I mean if you look at the two souls in Golden Freddy:
-Crying Child was tortured psychologically by his father and brother, made to go to a place he hated and was bullied for his brithday, only had one friend which was a plush toy, and this all ended in him being shoved into the mouth of the thing he was terrified of most and killed.
Why?
I'm really curious to see his take on the shadow animatronics and Michael's involvement in the games
My headcanon is that they are the souls of former employees who died inside a Golden Bonnie and a Golden Freddy suit. I think this is the "multiple springlock failure" incident that phone guy references in fnaf 3. It would explain why Shadow Freddy knows about the safe room.
I bet $10 he’ll say it’s the illusion disks, if he mentions it at all. Fits with his nightmare = illusion disk theory
@@maddiek1314 Honestly, it could be that the reason Michael sees visions of Shadow Bonnie and Shadow Freddy is because he's still traumatised about the death of his brother and those suits are the last things he remembers seeing before the incident.
how do we know that’s what Shadow Freddy was doing? He could’ve been leading them to the killer, the one who needed to die so they could move on.
JR’s being the old Fredbear’s Family Diner is mind blowing. Drunk, angry and kicked out of “your” business just adds another layer onto the lead in to Charlie’s murder.
I'm glad you think so
I just realised that Matpat's theory also explains how there could be nightmare animatronics with stomach mouths even if it is a bit indirectly. Basically; Nightmare Fredbear doesn't exist for most of the game, only appearing on Night 5 and 6 and replaced by Nightmare on 7 and 8... why does he appear so late into the game? Simple, if Matpat's theory is to be believed and Michael is who we're playing as in Fnaf 4, then it's highly possible that Elizabeth's death happens after Night 4 of the game; that would allow the illusion discs to create an animatronic with a stomach mouth to scare Michael away from animatronics even more... just a theory of course but I believe Matpat's theory on how Fnaf 4 went makes more sense than people give it credit for as it explains some inconsistencies with other theories about it
I love how you and pastra are always so kind and positive. We need that here.
💚💚💚
Cassidy is a boy. We have an image of him. A blonde boy.
@@kingofflames738 Oops. Doesn't change my idea aside from some words
@@kingofflames738 The blonde is "the one you should not have killed" and whose gender is meant to be somewhat ambiguous. I swear I just watched a video about this.
I like the call back to that first series! Its funny to think of a time when this franchise was more grounded in not super sci-fi ideas.
Cassidy is in the novels, but I think they're different characters.
I mean I just figured the ‘singing bear’ was some slipshod operation where someone behind a curtain sang while the bear just sat around.
Also incredibly possible
I mean I just figured out the singing there was some slipshod operation where someone behind a curtain sang while the bear just sat around.
I 100% agree that there are no "wrong" theories, they're just meant to be fun
9:00 I've always said that it is very possible that the Afton family moved houses. It would make sense of the locations and it would make sense that they wouldn't want to be right next to Fredbear's anymore.
That's also very possible
I like that a lot, it also explains the two house layouts (fnaf 4 gameplay vs minigames)
Analogies I did not think I'd read today... good nonetheless.
I can't wait for the time that Rye Number 2 finally escapes the backrooms :O
I don't know who you're referring to, but good luck to whoever that is
@@RyeToastSure you don't know... Definitely not like you pushed him there.
Who's to say they aren't a time displaced replicas of each other. Maybe this Rye is a party goer.
Something I only recently thought about for midnight motorist is that there this isn't any glass on the ground outside. Which implies that whoever was in the room wasn't breaking out, that something else (most likely whatever created the footprint) was breaking in.
Or scott didnt feel like making glass shards pixels lmao
I think the main obstacle over Henry and Afton's ages is that they both seem to have young children around the same time.
True, but that could be true of anyone at any age
@R. Lane I mean Jeremy Renner is a perfect example. He was in his 40s when his father had like another child.
What if Elizabeth is just visiting/living with her mother?
though even if she was dead a lot of parents keep their dead children’s rooms completely untouched like a tomb
I really like your adjustment of events because it smooths over some of the problems I had with matpats.
I think he's overall right buy with a few hiccups. Mostly just finding who died first is just difficult.
I appreciate that! And yeah that first chunk of the timeline is so weird and difficult
Totally fair. If Henry really is a prodigy owning a mechanic restaurant at 20 is not at all unbelievable, ESPECIALLY in the 60's
Goddamn go him!
Too. Some old people just keep going.
Yeah, my dad's the same way - spent a couple of days over the space of a summer in a climbing harness up a 70ft tree lowering its height with a chainsaw so he could eventually cut the whole thing down without smashing the surrounding buildings
Honestly I'm LOVING this new timeline he made because is less "ok, here's my spreedsheet of how everything is connected and the order of events" and more "Let me tell you a story"
It's so much more enjoyable, but not saying the oher way isn't.
@@RyeToast of course! Thanks so much :]
Bro that’s such a good theory!
@Katherine Pappas thanks!
So relaxing to just have a chill theorist for once. Love 'ya mindset man 🤗

have watched this vid a few times already bc i like to rlly take it all in, but the one thing that i am rlly in love with is the way you addressed the negativity in the community. i think this is a HUGE issue in fan communities/stan culture, and i must say im so happy about the way you brought this up. i rarely see creators hold the community responsible, and when they do they tend to sugar coat. the way you so matter of factly and seriously addressed it is amazing fr. i gasped the first time and out loud said to myself, "OKAY RYE GO OFF". i am so so proud and happy about what you said, i think ppl forget that hate is hate bc its the internet, but youre absolutely right. this community is about discussion and nothing good comes from hate. ever. i really hope that people hear you this time. as self proclaimed nerds that have spent ten years worried more about a PIZZA BEAR instead of our homework... youd think that we wouldnt perpetuate hate in our safe communities and spaces.
Great video! Love that you addressed the hate. We're all fans of the series. Even if we disagree with one another, we should always be respectful.

I think the stomach-mouth thing can be easily explained. The bunker was presumably built after Circus Baby's Pizza World was canceled, so by the time Mike was brought to the Observation Room CC/BV and Elizebeth would already both be dead.
Pizza world was canceled so by the time Mike was brought to the office Vinnie's room c /BV and Elizabeth would already both be dead.
Watch Wendigoon’s time line. I believe it’s the one that makes the most sense :)
I think MatPat said awhile back that if he could only have one thing explained, he would ask about Midnight Motorist, too.
It's the MOST cryptic thing in the series imo
@RyeToast too true!
I thing that people overlook is that the 'Fredbear's Sining Show' poster is in black and white, so they assume it's the 1930s, but the first coloured poster didn't exist until the 1970s,
meaning William probably isn't that old
About that PSA, well said. I whole heartedly agree with everything you said, that behavior is unwelcomed and gross.
The comment above me is true.
you're such a positive impact on this community

I agree! Also, you should check out Dmuted's midnight motorist video, it's a really cool theory that I've never heard before. It's definitely very interesting and I think he raises some good points that could help us figure out what midnight Motorists really is :D
Oooo I'll have to look into that!
I never thought I would see a FNaF theorist talk about an injury law firm
💚💚💚
LOUDER FOR THE PEOPLE IN THE BACK RYETOAST!!! 🙌🙌🙌Thaaaank you for the PSA. People get sooo hurt about other theories/perspectives that don't match their own, I don't understand why!!
I think fuhnaff's theory about midnight motorist is definitely one to look at, it makes some good points that might be important in the future.
2:27 that is spooky, explains why he had to wear the Spring Bonnie suit.
William was not an attractive man, and that feels Canon
@@RyeToast you are correct, it just got me off-guard that you actually edited Afton's skull from Pizzeria Simulator
I’ve been looking for an explanation why the orange and green cars are the same at Fredbear’s and at JR’S.
Thank you for giving an explanation.
Huh, i never even thought of that
I’m not entirely sure what big lore implications this has, but it’s an interesting little detail.
My personal timeline has SL happen in between 1 and 3. For me, it's the only place I'm happy with it being.
Not going to lie, the PSA section was a major reason why I wanted to subscribe to you. I’m so glad you called out the toxic behavior others had just because they disagreed with something so thank you
Also, you know cause you make good content and good theories but the PSA was a major part
My favorite timeline video is from Wendigoon but MatPat makes a interesting timeline for the series.
I still need to watch that one
13:33 fr I agree, thank you for saying this. I imagine as a RUclipsr you must see obnoxious commenters who are apart of the community as hate filled, but as someone who doesn’t own a channel I notice this with some fnaf RUclipsrs and while I still (somewhat) enjoy their content it’s absolutely obnoxious and annoying. Again, thank you!
Like some people are like “it’s my way or the high way” and that just makes me not want to watch those influencers.
Honestly i like your theorys a lot
They always make a lot of sense because you just explain them so well. And the fact that you also show us more complex theorys and explain them so we can understand it better
Love your videos man keep doing this great work
Specially the backrooms stuff. This is SO good
Specially the back room stuff. This is so good
Thank you so much! But I'm a bit confused at the last part, I didn't have a backrooms part. I was in the office the whole time
@@RyeToast oh yeah sorry i forgot that you are still in the office
When Rye gets out of the backrooms his final backrooms arc sponsor should so totally be Energizer
I don't know what you're talking about. I'm not in the backrooms, I'm in my studio
You're quickly becoming my favorite RUclipsr. Keep up the good work! I'm rootin' for ya.
Thanks so much! I'll do my best
I really enjoy your, fahnaff, matpat and razzbowski’s videos ….you guys are all who got me into fnaf in the first place ,and afew other games keep doing what your doing cuz it’s great! ☺️
Thank you!! 💚💚💚
We can all offer different perspectives.
I love watching all the theory videos. It is so much fun. My son introduced me to this while he was growing up. It reminds me of the fun we had and is comforting since he joined the military and is far away.
Tell him thank you for his service for me! 💚💚💚
My them straight up told people to do better. 100% with you on that, I don't understand why people in the theorizing community would be so vitriolic to new theories, it feels incredibly counter intuitive to me, but straight up insulting people because they think a games story is different than you is a whole new level of nuts.
Great analysis video btw, looking forward to the next one!
the PSA was VERY important, thank you for being such a bright light in our community
💚💚💚
Ok, the little moment in 14:10 granted you my like.
Really cool video btw.
Thank you! And I'm glad 💚
I like the way you go about talking about other theories. I think it's kinda how people should go about it.
An EASY explanation for elizabeths room being empty? The mom has her
maybe she’s with friends, or just elsewhere during that specific moment of time, could be anything really
For real. All that room says is that he /has/ a sister, her absence doesn't mean she's dead
Yeah he’s a pretty chill dude he doesn’t deserve the hate just because of a theory.
@@josepruitt1811 I agree.
💚💚💚
Love it when you upload :) Keep up the good work, nearly 100k!
I'm glad! And wow, I really can't believe it. That's crazy
Based PSA! the diversity of theories is a good thing. Shaming others gets people nowhere and is just childish.
Oh yeah, he stated multiple times, especially with fnaf, about how much he hates some of the theories that he thinks are true lol
And I think assume, but in a I came to this conclusion and based on the evidence we have right now I think that it's true way).
As a culinary student who grew up with fnaf this channel is amazing, and I’m kinda upset I only recently found out about you, this is great content because it’s about BREAD and FnaF, that’s like, two of my favorite things on the planet
That was really cool. I appreciate the way you analyze these theories and bolster the online community. Thank you!
thank you for talking about the hate that people are getting for just making theories. that's been bothering me a lot lately and makes it a lot harder to have fun in this community. this is exactly why i always love coming to your videos, i really love the way you think about things. thanks for always making great content and being awesome.
the way i see it, as well: make as many crazy theories as possible. its so fun to think about i will never understand people who get mad about things like this. we don't know the answers so why not bring new ideas to the game. i'm always more inspired to keep theorizing when i see a theory i don't necessarily agree with.
ok but, based RyeToast for that PSA
💚
7:03 empty sister room actually just sounds like his was was pregnant and they were expecting a little girl tbh
Very possible
I 100% agree with you with people being mean to others about theories! Also, another great video 😊
It’s funny. Matpat said the same thing about midnight motorist
That’s the one thing he’d want to ask Scott about.
bro i love your content so much 😩🙏
i recently got back into fnaf after a few years and you have been my favorite creator i have found ever since coming back in the scene, keep it up!
listening to you while doing homework is like having a friend by my side, he's not helping academically but its making me calm and happy
