extraordinary, very cool video. Beautiful nature, interesting place, beautiful, extraordinary, your work, I like success, happy work, success always for you, Amen, thank you, my dear friend, for sharing a useful and interesting video. I support you forever💯✅🤝🤝🙏🏿💝
@@pauljones401 I got some shots a few weeks ago, I had my drone ready today and a location in mind but the visibly was poor. So I opted for warm house and a cuppa 🤣 mind you I still heard the rumble from 2.6 miles away.
Because of the concert it became a great focal point for me remembering some great moments and people. I was up ready to go this morning and thought no. Let the majesty remain. Thank you very much. Paul 👍
Great video Paul. Love that spot, and it's history at Wigg Island. I was thinking of going there to see the end, but too cold to stand around for maybe 4 hours. Hope you are? 😀
I live in the area of Drax power station in Yorkshire (which has survived the coal purge), and missed the opportunity to visit Eggborough and Ferrybridge power stations before they were demolished, so just before the end of October I had the pleasure of driving across the Pennines and visiting Fiddlers Ferry for pictures and b-roll before they blasted down the north cooling towers, the design was definitely brutalist and lovely and I also appreciated the local community’s efforts to immortalise it’s memory before it finally disappeared. Sadly it will disappear, and I’ll be painfully reminded of that by the extra figures on my energy bill, as I did warn a lot of people of when they started knocking these places down 😢.
Amazing video Paul... Are you using your phone good quality.. Its like the Anderton boat lift area near Northwich that was also extremely polluted but has recovered well over the decades..
@@pauljones401 Cool it's a great vid you did..the phone its just as good as an expensive camera. I like experimenting with sounds (noodling they call it in the synth community). Nothing special as these sounds were made up in a few minutes then the Synthstorm Deluge sequencer controls the 8 bar patterns, it's very easy on these desk top synths.
Wow, what a great documentation of the area. That skyline will change for every after demolition. Way to go! Bruce and Otis
Just great the river Mersey is back alive again. Almost looks like something from where you are. Spectacular! Thank you Paul

It’s getting a really strong response. But I think people realise I mean this!! Did you get any last shots for posterity?

@@andyairshots it was poor visibility. Just noticed a drone film of yours I’ll have a watch thanks
Such a beautiful area! It will no doubt be very different now, but it's marvelous that you were able to capture it on film!
It’s a strange one I know! But meant a lot to so many in the area and to many for the reasons I mentioned too. Great area not far from me 👍
Such as shame my friend. Heard the explosion from my house and not gonna lie when it happend , it was a sad moment 😢
(Great video BTW)
Heard it? I bloody felt it!! The whole house shook and I'm in Fearnhead too, so not exactly next door to Fiddlers.

@@golfguru0962 That’s a great call!!
I worked at Fiddlers on and off for many years...
Just such a part of the area in many ways. Felt right to do this however daft that may sound. It really did. P
So nature eventually will get back to the way it should be...Good job...and I am also a massive Stone Roses fan...
@@563421094 It’s amazing how many people have understood the whole vibe of this film. Really glad I did it. Thank you

No I’m not as I’m quite fond of the place!! It’s featured in quite a lot of my films so I’ll let others document its end.
@@pauljones401 I understand that. My son ,lives in Warrington, and is determined to see the sad end, so will watch his video .

Still on my iPhone SE 2019. A great day to visit. Lots of people seem in tune with my view! Great tunes you did on your video
