Sticky substance inside of his glove, I didn’t see him once go inside of his glove. I know when I played my glove was always very sticky inside of it but some of that was cross over residue from batting mixed with glove sweat. Idk but mlb is going to help the A’s over the next few years get fans and become a winning team.
It doesn't matter. The fact it was there is why they check in the glove. Let's just think, if he stays in the Game and at one moment he is losing control or wants to really spin the ball, all he needs to do is go to that sticky stuff. Sad news about Ronel. Now whenever he starts on the road he’s gonna be booed like mad. I don’t know yet if he has anything other than sweat and rosin in his glove but it won’t matter. People will discredit his accomplishments now.
Just keep in mind that there’s no way that he could have cheated in his other starts. Hgets checked every game he started and this was the only time the umps have found something on him.

Doesn't make a lot of sense that Ronel was ejected for having a 'substance', on the inside of the glove on his NON THROWING hand. Ronel's always been a guy that sweats a lot. They check these guys every inning and there's no way that Ronel just randomly started cheating.

But if you need more proof that baseball can change quickly, no other team in the AL West won last night.

After the Astros won their game tonight, I took a screen cap of the ESPN app showing *5* other games (Cards/Angels, Reds/D-Backs, Rockies/Padres, Royals/M's, Dodgers/Giants) were all still playing in the 6th or 7th inning, yet ALL of them had their highlights videos uploaded by MLB more than an hour BEFORE the Astros/A's highlights video was finally uploaded after 3:50am EST. But when Astros fans complain about the bias of the upload order or slowness, they are told "it happens to every team" after they win, lol.

Lmao the MLB hates the Astros soooo much, that they literally didn't do anything to punish the players after they got caught cheating.
If anything, the Astros are the MLB's favorites. If anything, King Tuck, Bregman, Altuve, and everyone else who cheated should be banned from the game, just like the 1919 Black Sox.

I totally understand the frustration, but I'm afraid this correlation doesn't necessarily imply causation. The reality is, this DOES happen to lots of teams - just this season alone, I've had similar conversations with Mariners, Yankees, Blue Jays, and Cubs fans, all of them making the same claim that MLB hates their team and uploads slowly on purpose. Isn't it far more likely that the one or two interns at MLB who manage this channel are inconsistent and/or prone to mistakes that require reuploads, etc.? There are plenty of other explanations that are more plausible than somebody at MLB specifically hating one of their own teams.
Also, it's not as if a lot of runs were scored so there really weren't many "highlights" to winnow down.

Nothing was on the pitching hand, however there was rosin on the non throwing hand which is against the rules. Does it deserve 10 game suspension ( theoretically 2 starts)? If MLB says it does then in it does. Move on.

I'm over the whole AwakenBeerus hype. Can we just focus on the game and leave the predicting to the experts? I don't need someone telling me what's gonna happen…I’m here to be surprised!
Initial thoughts:
We as a team would be fools to have been in on this in any way...
This guy needs to be sh3t canned ASAP and it seems we need to police our pitching staff in-house to prevent this type of 'Benedict Arnold' behavior.
My thought process is this: who has more to gain or lose from illegal activity, the player or the organization?
The player has millions of dollars on the line depending on his performance or us as an organization who will ALWAYS have another prospect to call-up if the current pitching staff isn't cutting the mustard.
AwakenBeerus and his predictions are starting to annoy me. I don't care how accurate he is, I'm not here to make money off his guesses. Let's just enjoy the game for what it is.

It's not possible. It was sweat, but after the cheating that ALL of the MLB teams did back in 2017-2018, no one gets the benefit of the doubt now.
That's why they check all of the pitchers now, and why Blanco was not tossed before yesterday. He's not cheating--the umps were just being extra careful.
