Can you also talk about scaling the database in terms of data where you follow relational modelling of data as the example you took, and the amount of data becomes very large as your user base grows. Sharding/Partitioning based on location or some other parameter is one idea, but what happens when you require data from multiple locations/server i.e. you'll not be able to perform joins efficiently. What to do in that case ? Don't know why other system design videos don't have this concept, as I feel this is very important for scaling the data.
What If cache is full, how do you handle cache eviction policies? Currently twitter is not adopting these approaches ,and it can't be scaled with these approaches.
Even the tweet from someone like Ronaldo can be cached just at one place else there would be 100 thousands of reads from database for the same info./tweet?!!

Redis is in memory db. And yes cache makes sense
