- Ever wondered how you can create those fancy looking Certificates that automatically get send to everyone filling in your Form?
Do you run training or professional development sessions and want to provide everyone filling out the feedback with a certificate or letter thanking them for attending?
Here is how you do it!
All you need is Google Forms, Google Docs, the AutoCrat AddOn and your own Creativity.

Flipped Classroom Tutorials Is it possible to skip the form creating part and enter all attendee names in the Excel spreadsheet at one time, then launch the emailed certificates? Essentially, I would be the administrator responsible for emailing the confirmations.

You could make it part of the confirmation message at the end of the form.

Thanks. I'm always left wondering if it has really worked when I submit a form. This solves the problem. Have you seen the 'Learn Google Spreadsheets' videos on RUclips - lots of brilliant information there for customising Google Sheets. (I am not connected to the person who produces these videos - just think they are a great resource)

Who is the AutoCrat extension made by? I see 6 choices as of today, but nothing looks similar to your example used here. I want to place a FirstName on top of an image and send as PDF

the link of the form could be set to shared.
you could also share/ forward the link of the form to others too.
The owner of the form could set the form to show submit another link after the form is submitted.
if i upload an image to form and i want to put that image in my automailing pdf how can i ?

Inevitably, though, Google has changed things. Forms detects the word 'email', offers to collect email addresses, then pushes its own email field to the top. I wanted to use "Your best email", but that was supplanted by "Email address". Can you think of any way round this?

I think it sends certificate to onlya limited number of people. Many people in my list didnt received the certificate. Can you please clarify?

I was thinking if the add ons are safe as i tried to add autocrad it, it asks for hell lot of information basically access to my google drive including docs and photos etc. Is it good for privacy purposes or for personal accounts?
I want share the doc to email address, but the system always said that email subject missing. I put email addresss in my google form also. Why did this happen?

But with this process anyone can have certificate by just filling the feedback form. For example if some organization conducting training program if they use this to send the certificate to participants, then anyone with the feedback link can fill the information and have the training certificate. So, is there any way to restrict this?

Wonderful tutorial! All of them are!! I have a question: Is there a way for me to count/compare respondents answer choices in a form and give individualized feedback based on that count? I want to give my students a learning styles ‘quiz’, and more ‘A’ choices=auditory learner, more ‘B’ choices=kinesthetic learner, and more ‘C’ choices=tactile learner. Thanks!!

Help! This is 2020 and I can't find Maker.
I have been afraid to use any Add Ons because they want permission to access and change anything in your Google Drive. There are also alot of them and it is hard to know which are safer than others. How do you know that Autocrat is a safe Addon and that the people that make it or hackers won't take and use my data?
+Twioos Turtle As with everything you never know, the same could be said for media companies, phone manufacturers, etc.. However the larger community has always been very good at communicating which add ons are useful and which ones aren't. In terms of Granting access, this is necessary for the app to read (Get info from the form) and write (Create the Certificate). A lot of very large EdTech companies and Organisation have been using it successfully and if that's not enough, you have to do your own research, and come to your own conclusions. My main advice would be to visit channel such as mine, blogs and read up on EdTech use in various communities if you have doubts. The main rule of thumb is that you have to trust the developer / organization behind the application. I hope this answers your question.
Hi there,
I have been using a Google Form for other members of my team to submit a Time sheet. It's been working wonderfully up until yesterday. I had an e-mail from a team member stating that the Time Format on their submission form has changed from the AM/PM to the 24 Hr Clock. When I attempted to figure out what the error was I noticed that if I now try to create a new form, the Edit form section shows only the option for the AM/PM format but the Live Form will only show the 24 Hr Clock. We used to have the option to select and/or display either. Is there some kind of problem with Google Forms (hopefully temporary) or is there a way to correct this?
+Umesh Jadhav Not sure what the issue could be, however similar issues have been solved when I cleared the cache of my browser. Might be worth a try. Hope that helps. I will see if I can find more info on this.

This way created each pdf individually from a template. Using a generic pdf is not possible.

There are many different ways of creating attractive and good looking landing pages. One such way is to use the New Google Sites and embed your form. (More info Here: ruclips.net/video/27CQU1vAlgw/видео.html ). When creating your Form, make sure you use a Theme which matches your website design as to have a professional looking Landing page.
Updated Autocrat not sending auto email
Unfortunately I was unable to finish this process of merging. I do not want to send a PDF as an attachment to people but instead a simple email. I created a Google doc with what I want to be sent. The only thing that I did differently from you, was where it says "select the file type you want to create. Instead of choosing send a PDF, I chose to send a view-able Google Doc. It then needed me to set up a folder to receive a copy of the sent emails. I did that and chose that folder. I clicked run autocrat when new forms are submitted as well. But the option to hit save is not there! Only "back."
Isn't it possible to send the contents of a Google Doc as an email? I have reviewed all the options and gone through the steps as you instructed, but it won't allow me to finish. Please advise me.

I simply want to send them a thank you email for signing up to take the Plastic Free Challenge (an environmental campaign I am organizing). Attachments are often seen as spam. That said I am still unclear what part of the process I screwed up, or if what I tried to do wasn't possible. Let me know what you learn and I'll do the same.
