Had to watch this to see if a mini steer could do what I need done. I figure it would be better if I rented one for a day. Now that I see what it's capable of, I'll rent one and be done with my project. LOL! ✌🏾
That hill is not that bad. As long as the ground is dry I don't know why there would be an issue. I'd have definitely used some sort of geo textile between the dirt and gravel though.
why didnt you used the big skid? that could have been a one day job if you had the big one or at least the medium size and have all the material ready.
Theakston thanks for the quick reply, I’m trying to get into hardscaping here in Raleigh, NC might have to start with gas model and move up. Seems like it got the job done.
Finally, I found a mini skid steer video of someone doing some real work that shows what these machines are capable of :).
Yes, bro...I spent few hours to find it.
The newer TX1000 and 2000 are epic machines, try one out! Nice video!

I like what you did at minute 2, approach from the upside ... But run the machine in reverse going up, you will save 2 turns each trip.

why not just use a full size skid steer? looks like it would of fit throught the chain link fence?
After watching this I'm definitely not going to be renting one of these.

How much did you charge for this install?
Do the tracks tear up grass that you don't want torn up?

How long it take you buddy
The whole day!
Wanted to see the stump get pulled out
Is it a gas or diesel model?
It was the gas model, we have the diesel now and it has a ton more torque and sips fuel.

Yeah it replaces a few guys and it's nice to fit into back yards where a normal skid steer cant fit. (Like through gates)
Washington State? Looks familiar
Michigan
How many hours did that take you?
About 6
Not very good camera angles and not much shown on how you you got the gradual slope
man that is all going to wash out first year. :)
It's been over 2 years and hasn't moved at all. It's crushed concrete that's been compacted.
