It is that one mistake of our Constitution creators. Because all those, studied under British or in UK or more of the influence from English Countries. I feel they never visited the Europe, and other countries which are so protective of their language. That has led us to create a need for common language and free movement at the cost of the our own diversity. May be they never envisioned the mass movement that would occur later one day, that is today. The subsequent Governments just feared in the false assumption of losing unity, which is the other ways around that we are losing our unity and it is dividing us. I feel we should follow what EU is doing, but without creating separate countries but to allow to secure the historic linguistic diversity, preserving the ancient local cultures, heritage and encouraging the citizens to accept our diversity, to learn and respect while also providing free movement at no cost of losing our identity. The Govt should allow for any long term settlement in any state, it should be mandatory to learn and communicate in that state language(s), and integrate well in those communities. Mass free movement is a legal ways invasion, nothing short of what British, French, Dutch, Portuguese tried to do on us. It is high time our Govt, should learn this and facilitate. The EU should be our example, but not without creating any separate countries but with single country. The EU is successful because those countries knows language is bound to their culture, heritage and if they lose it they not only lose their identity, but also their culture and heritage. And anyone who requires to settle in those countries needs to integrate with their culture, heritage, and language.
