Any plans on an update video? I was curious to see how new one held up. I'm currently in the market for a forge and am considering the 2 burner deluxe knife maker(same as yours) and have read some mixed reviews on it. If no video then a reply with your thoughts on how it held up would be greatly appreciated. Thanks brother!
That is a nice forge. I like diamond back ironworks forges they have quite a bit of different models and there local plus reline kits are a bit cheaper
@@VooDooTennessee I have the same forge, mine’s a two burner. I use two ceramic tiles for a floor. Had trouble getting a non oxidizing flame. I recently am only running about 8psi of propane and am going to try again. All I want to do is stick that metallll together! Thanks for the reply and videos, brother. Maybe do a forge welding video?
@@jackn2493 you are correct it's a figure 8 on a bight. Once upon a time I was very involved in vertical caving, rescue and technical rope work. Rigging big drops for rappel and accent were my favorite. Rappel racks and double bungie rope walker drops. I then took a job at a whitewater rafting company running the high adventure program, this was rock climbing, caving, a high ropes course and backpacking. I was there for 15 years. To make a long story short, seemed like a good idea at the time!
..Congrats on the New piece of equipment sir. Hope you get just as much wear out of this as you did the other, Hopefully longer...
Mine must be that old now lol. Looks like the newer ones come with a thicker liner

Can you make a new review on it now to update how it's doing?
I think these are the forges on forged in fire but i may be wrong
I think you are correct.
Hey man. Have ya tried to forge weld in it? I’d like to heard about that.
I will easily achieve welding temps, but use a tube or sacrificial floor in the forge when using any type of flux. Flux is like cancer to a forge.

Could you heat treat a 20 inch blade in that forge?
what is the significance of the bowline knot on your inner left arm?
I mean figure 8 on a bight.. not bowline...
