"How do I prepare for an MRI scan? What happens during an MRI scan? How does an MRI scan work? Are MRI scans painful? Is it an X-Ray kind of scan? How long will it take?
I have sooooo many questions ringing in my head when I was told by my doctor that I needed to do an MRI scan, which stands for Magnetic Resonance Imaging, to check why my knee's been aching for weeks.
I was fortunate enough to be able to speak the radiologist experts at Singapore General Hospital (SGH) to allay my fears, clear my doubts, and help me better understand what happens to me during an MRI scan.
