its because of you i started playing dayz, i now have over 1k hours, 100s of kills and am currently asshole clenched under a stairwell with 13 zombies outside my door and a dickhead in the other building yelling and shooting at me XDDDD 10/10

Bro, so on we built all the way to the top of the tower once, beautiful views!
If u lock the door to that tower at the bottom u can shoot it ect and it will not unlock without the lock pick but any other door can be shot to open

What an intro!!!
At least the early raid on your base gives you a target of some really pathetic people lol. And you were right to focus on building. probably should have from the start and had only 2 guys out scouting for stuff while rest focused on building. Especially that location. Having to build up so people cant boost in and fill all those holes plus gettign something on roof of the building so you can shoot inside courtyard easier sense tower is to high woulda been helpful, but you learn more and more every time even with a ton of hours in game.
