Probably could have gotten away with it but the song The Prayer might still be tagged. Artists who cover songs are usually still tagged by copyright. Better safe than sorry. 😊

@@alejandro7616Still finding the middle point on what's gonna work without getting copyright strikes. The parts that they react to are left about 10 secs before we start speaking to make sure people know what they're reacting to. The video is suppose to be about the reactions of my friends. Would be great to focus on that till we find a way around copyright strikes. Most of my previous videos have been tagged by copyright.

Bro I really do think that you're the only one doing the FFwd thing. Of all the reactors i watched they didn't do the FFwd to avoid the "copyright" issue. Wish Bus doesn't have a problem in reacting to their videos. The only thing Wish Bus reminds us is "NOT TO RE-UPLOAD" their videos without reacting from your own YT channel. Thanks. I'm Filipino.

Just a suggestion you can pause the video a couple of times and say whatever you need to say then play it again. That is better than FFWding. This is what other youtubers do so for copyright reasons.

Only update is that some say I can maybe push it to 30secs instead of 10 secs before cutting bit i did that on a previous video and was still tagged. Very tricky getting around this issues.

This is the life story of Marcelito Pomoy.
"To give you a background on the life of Marcelito Pomoy.... he was born in Bislig City, Surigao Del Sur province, island of Mindanao, Philippines into a broken family, his mother left the family when he was still at a very tender age of about 6 months old and his father ended up in jail. With no relatives wanting to help, Marcelito had no other choice but to join his father and stay inside the jail for about 2 years.. Eventually one of the prison guards was moved by his plight and took him to his home in the town of Diatagon close to Bislig City and his family provided for his needs while his dad had to continue serving his prison sentence. He left the only home he ever knew when he was roughly 7 years old upon learning they were not his parents and walked the streets of Bislig City in search of his dad whom he really never knew, often going for days hungry, doing whatever odd jobs he can do to be able to buy a piece of bread or scraps of food he could find on the street dumps. He learned to humm and sing himself to sleep. He did so much variety of odd jobs like being a helper in construction sites, mixing cement manually with gravel and water and carrying it to the guys needing to build walls of hollow blocks with cement, etc., selling boiled duck eggs which is a popular delicacy in the Philippines called "Balot" upto the wee hours of dawn, peddling ice cream to earn a few cents, he did fixing the pinballs up in bowling lanes daily, earning about $1 USD so he had food to eat then sleep on street curbs for several years, any job an under 16 year old kid could do Marcelito had done it. In my opinion God was guiding him all these years because he never thought of committing crimes just to be able to survive but work was plentiful for his tender age and he suffered tremendously to be able to eat daily but with Gods' Guiding Hand he made it in life. He would hang around clubs and restaurants while selling any goods he got and watched in amazement at the talent of the singers' performing while he watched from outside the door. He started singing himself and follow the way he sees the singers sing and thru the years he kept on imitating any singer he could watch on other people's TV singing. He was a no read no write kid struggling in life to fend for himself and survived all those years. He worked cleaning chicken pens in huge chicken farms and sang to the chickens while cleaning their pens and it was while singing to his audience of egg laying chickens that he discovered he could sing both a male and female voice when he was about 18 years old. We will never know if the hens produced more eggs while Marcelito was serenading them !!!
He honed his skills on his own without any vocal coach to teach him because he couldn't afford to hire one then and after gaining confidence in singing other artists songs copying exactly the singers breathing pattern, diction, way of delivering their songs, etc. He moved to Manila still doing odd jobs that were available to him. Through the insistence of his new friends at work, he joined a Philippines TV network conducting a singing competition in Manila. He passed the audition and went on to the semi finals and grand finals.. He won the competition hands down despite so many excellent competitors. His monetary prize was such a huge amount to him that he never imagined he would be able to own in his lifetime as an uneducated adult. He signed a record contract with the recording studio arm of the same TV network and the rest is now history. His SUFFERINGS in life I just barely touched on the surface.... You won't be able to watch his RUclips videos about his life story coming from Marcelito Pomoy because he is not comfortable talking in conversational American English. He can sing almost any song in so many different languages with the help of a vocal coach now but talk to him in English, interview him in English and he would need a translator to assist him. He is very rich now in terms of an average Filipino earning a decent living in Manila, he bought a decent home with his earnings from the singing contest and is one of the most sought after performer in the Philippines with concerts in Canada, Dubai, Spain and so many other countries. He married his girlfriend in the Catholic Church and now they have a child to enrich their married blissful life as a family. He was able to reunite his mother, father and siblings but they each have different families now. Marcelito has returned to school to be more confident in his life but it's still a very long way to go for him. He does an excellent job of emulating the diction, way of delivering of the singers he hears and watches. His favorite singer's are Celine Dion and Andre Bocelli and the PRAYER is his most favorite song, according to him, that he said launched his successful singing career. He first listens to each song he wants to sing, following their pronunciation, breathing patterns, etc until he's able to follow them like he did with Celine Dions songs, etc. He also jokingly said in the song THE PRAYER at the very end of the clip where he acted as if he coughed... he wanted to bring out the woman that's in him but did not elaborate any further ... and I would rather not speculate myself !!!!
He is soft spoken and always a happy person to hangout with and decent but really funny jokes are so natural in him albeit often only in the Tagalog or Filipino language.
The one thing that amazes me is that despite the millions of pesos (the Philippines currency ) he earns each year ... he remains as humble as a child and he has not allowed the riches of the world to go thru his head unlike so many people who changed their character when they became wealthy. Only Jesus Christ and Blessed Mother Mary can give Marcelito Pomoy a humble heart with all the success he and his family are now basking in... !!! He also is a natural born comedian, plenty of punchlines albeit mostly in Tagalog, the common dialect in the Philippines but he can imitate the voices of popular local and international personalities like Elvis Presley, Marlon Brando in the godfather movies, etc... and if you close your eyes you'd think the person Marcelito is emulating is present before you.
I hope I have shed some light on Marcelito Pomoy. Let's not forget he still is in his grade school level education but he's getting there. I'm Mr. Briones, from the Philippines, too, like Marcelito is, but I've migrated to Australia living in the beautiful city of Sydney. I'm sorry if I've stepped on the toes of one of your viewers talking about his life story. I wanted to explain further in detail Marcelito Pomoys' life story. God Bless us all.

Guy, just constructive criticism, you don't need to fast forward that often. Honestly it spoil the fun of watching it. We also want to enjoy his singing but we couldn't make it out when you fast forward on the precise time we need to hear that note. You can watch other reactions, yes they stop just for copyright issue but still achieve the continuity of the song that we love to listen to. You will lose subscribers or viewers if you wont change how you do it. Thank you.

You make people dizzy every time you forward it
I really don't understand why you keep on forwarding the video especially during those important highlights of the performances if you are to convey honest, authentic and accurate reactions (especially when one is advocating himself as a YT REACTOR). A legit reaction has a lot to do with an unfiltered/unrehearsed/continuous real-time non-verbal expressions/gestures, that is more often than not (most important) what really "hit hard" a viewer and would prefer even more than the reactor's verbal narratives (that can most of the times be boring, unsubstantial, irrelevant & fake, - obviously acting-out & just say things what the audiences want to hear. Note: I'm not insinuating yours is). The fact that there are countless viral YT reaction videos, drawing millions of views from international audiences even if not a single spoken word is understood because non-verbal reactions as a form of communication just SPEAK LOUDER THAN WORDS. I have to commend you though that although there's too much talking (as it's really inevitable to suppress the uncontrollable urge to speak sometimes), it was respectfully done right, - the video was put on hold. But then again too much of it, "video pausing", I find really quite annoying...you have all the time in the world to speak your mind after it's all through anyways.
These are just my humble thoughts & suggestions that need to be ponder upon if one wants his channel to grow, productive & be profitable.#JUSTSAYING.

Thanks for the insight, there's really no formal format in making these videos and every channel has their own style on doing videos. From experience I've tweaked the videos to find what works for the channel and at the moment this is what works. We actually have a video where we watched the video first then commenting at the end and we were called boring. Just shows that you can't please everyone. And by the end of the video we practically forgot what we wanted to say. In the end these videos are just basically me and my mates having fun and sharing it online. Having subscribers is just a bonus. 😁

That's what I use to do. Almost all my past videos have been tagged with copyright. Trying to find the middle ground really. It's still a phase of finding what works.

you don't have to forward your video you just have to stop then do the commenting and it wont be copyrighted. the way you did it just lost your viewer's appetite to finish the video. let your viewers feel the entirety of the video you are reacting. good for me because i watched this already from other reactor but what about those who haven't seen the video yet. hope you won't do this again otherwise you lost viewership. thanks

I think our subscribers that request us to watch certain videos want to see how our Kiwi mates react to the video. I'm pretty sure who ever requested us to watch certain videos have seen the videos themselves. A link is always provided in the description if not.
There's really no formal formats to these videos and this is what I found that works for my channel. I get a few people who don't like it but we really can't please everyone. Cheers! 😁

In this video I try to highlight the parts where they give big reactions. Someone even commented on my other videos that we were boring while watching. I guess the saying is true. You can't please everyone. Still looking for the middle point and seeing what I can do with tje videos. Hope this answers your question.
I like your reactions but you need to learn how to do these reaction videos guys. Not only that you ff the video an inordinate amount of times but you also stop as many times as you've ff both videos. Sure, I like to hear your comments but guys, this is a reaction video. I'm supposed to see your reactions to the song/performance as the video plays out. Fast for weeding and stopping defeats the purpose of the reaction video. You should watch reaction videos from other people to learn how it's done.

This reaction by far and I've seen hundreds of them and some over and over again this one by far takes the cake it sucks big time. You chopped it up so much in my opinion you did un justice to the song and marcelito. Thats because ones that never heard it untill your channle have no idea what the complete song would of been thats my opinion lm going thumbs down
