I was able to dig up some live performances of the song with Vivian Campbell playing it and fortunately he keeps it pretty close to the original recording. The part with the repeating pattern was a bit of a challenge because while it seems like a repeating pattern, it’s a little different each time. I wouldn’t worry about it if you were playing it live or anything but I really tried to keep it as close to the way Vivian played it on the album. 🤘

I saw Dio on the Holy Diver tour. Beginning of the show he had an optical illusion. I think it was a floating cube or something. Very strange. Still havent figured that one out. Vivian Canpbell was awsome.

I followed his career after Dio, was really looking forward to his Riverdogs band, but I remember being a bit disappointed in it. I need to revisit that band, it's been quite a while since I gave them a spin.

@@jaydenfox-ie5yq even though the original version of the song by the rolling stones is considered a masterpiece in my opinion the rolling stones version is trash and gnr made a cover of that which is considered one of their worst songs but again in my opinion this is an absulout banger and it has one of the best solos by slash but its so underrated
