1982 ...Fat shaming? Really?? Have you seen your president lately? And the secretary of state? They can’t sit on the same side of space force one, because all it’ll do is circle around.

normantrombon she is morbidly obese, you shouldn't support such a drain on our healthcare system.

@@GamerFrom1982 I wonder if there's a reason you don't have a photo of yourself as the profile picture. Let's see a picture and then we'll judge you based solely on the way you look.

Imagine running a campaign ad and bragging about the race of your campaign manager, volunteers and consultants all being homogeneous to your own...
    Unreal.

There's a fundamental difference when those people come the a majority demographic or from a minority. It's also not "homogenous": aside from all being women, they're just non-white women.

@@g.e.o.r.g.e... When you draw all your support from a majority demographic, all you are doing is reinforcing the system already in place since the majority almost by definition is going to have more representation in a democratic system. A group that is mostly minority, however, is going to bring attention to an underrepresented population that will allow for a greater range of issues to be addressed.
Particularly given the demographic changes going on in America right now, there's an economic incentive to bring in more voice from minorities to address their concerns to make them more economically productive.
Additionally, as I mentioned in my edit, her group isn't "homogenous": the only shared characteristic is being women. Being "non-white" isn't homogenous.

@@NotHPotter are people of Hispanic descent a minority where she's from? If they are, how much longer until they overtake non-hispanic whites?
You say that they're not homogeneous, but did you even watch the video?

    • @NotHPotter
      @NotHPotter 6 лет назад

Yeah, non-whites can come from many different cultures, and if they aren't the minority, all the more reason they should have more representation in government. That's how democracy works.

Okay, going down the points, in order that they are presented:
    She's Latino, and She's a Woman.
Her campaign is run by women.
She has a family that she loves.
    She works for Planned Parenthood.
Nothing on her policies that she wants to put forward, nothing about what specific items, changes, reforms or programs that she'd like to try and implement into her community.
This entire piece is all "I'm a woman, I'm of color, I don't like Trump, vote me into your politics please."
There is absolutely no substance here at all. Once again, NowThis is simply pandering to identity politics, surface-level judgement and blind tribalism. Yuck, NowThis, very yuck.
