One of my first trips to Disney was March 2004 and it just poured one day, all day and night. The park was empty, we walked on every ride. Being from Calgary we thought it was great, not even cold, one of the best days of that trip. Thanks for taking me on another adventure!

Jeff Pike! In the flesh! Disneyland and DCA is the best. On daughter's first trip to Disneyland and DCA it rained for most of the morning and it was the best. It made us slow down and enjoy the atmosphere. We did dark rides and took our time eating. Our desert girl got to splash in puddles. It was the best. That was the year I got my first spirt jersey cause I remembered to pack every one else a long sleeve shirt but me. That might have been an on purpose accident. 😁
My hubby and I years ago went to Disneyland for the day during the floods. They closed at 5 that day and the water came up to our door on the car! Fun times! Love the rain!

I LOVED working in the Tiki Room, especially opening! I would get a breakfast burrito at the Inn Between and do the test show all alone before rope drop… it was so magical! You feel Walt’s presence in there during that empty show!

DLR during a rainy day seems so beautiful and perfect. You both are such an escape for me and I love these Disneyland videos you do for me. Lamplight Lounge seems delicious and I'm dying to try the Lobster Nachos. Disney in general continues to be my lifestyle I live by!

We were there that day and waited in the POURING rain for our Rise of the Resistance boarding group. (We'd never been before) and then of course, our first time on that ride, after waiting in the soaking rain, it breaks down and we have to get off halfway through

I find it funny that people wear ponchos when it rains I guess me as a coaster enthusiast I see it as screw it gonna end up wet anyways so I just go with a tee shirt and shorts
Decades ago, my sister slipped in Toon Town on a rainy day and was swiftly whisked odd to first aid by the wonderful medical crew. She spent the rest of the time in a wheelchair with a sprained ankle, which meant no lines for us! A silver lining!
Are they putting up Christmas in toon town I'm going to Disney world in December for my birthday and last year my mom passed away a week before my birthday the whole year has been real hard I lived with my parents my whole life cant find mr right and now that they are both gone so different. I was at Disney world in September they took toon town out so depressing loved toon town. Have fun Stacy Kalis
