I'm so pleased to find this video. The clock is exactly the same as one I have put up for sale ( reluctantly) on Ebay this week. At least if mine sells I will be aBLE TO COME BACK HERE AND SEE THIS ONE! Mine needs a bit of TLC as it's been overwound, but is slowly unwinding. Mine is definitely a Westminster chime though.
That's not a Westminster Chime at the beginning, it's a Trinity Chime. And also a quarter of that chime appears at 1:11 when it strikes a quarter past. At 1:29 a one third of the Westminster Chime starts. But it would also be nice to see the big hammer in the clock strike the hour inside.
The strike is great I wish my junghans clock worked as well but unable to get parts for it it is a Westminster 3 train strike wall clock A11 age about 1900 and they are very worn , if you know where to find parts that would be great
I love to listen to clock chimes like this. They're so beautiful. I don't believe I've ever heard a song like this one being sounded by a clock.
Wow.

I believe Junghans bought the HAC company and I expect a lot of their parts were used together for some time afterwards.

Trinities...only a handful of these exist from my bit of experience with clocks...
thanks theyre nice
thanks, this clock also needs a little work on the case
What kind of chimes do these clocks use to give them their "grandfather" clock like sound?
They just use the same chime rods. Most grandfather clocks have the same lenght of chime rods as wall clocks so that is why they sound like that

No. Listen to Trinity and then to Whittington. They both are very different.

But, rest assured, they are different, even though they sound alike to you.
