I’m struggling to find some sort of analogy if you will in trying to understand how this device would actually help. Is it pressing on your legs? How is it actually taking weight off when it’s mounted on your waist and pressing on your legs? Is there anything any example or comparison someone could give me?
Maybe easy piston back then it lifts, pulls or drives the laws forward? I'd like to have seen it be a solid plastic or carbon fiber bar that's adjustable and a little offsetting from front to back. So a little higher on the front and a little lower on the back of the thigh.
Can it be used to gain performance and durability for industrial work? -Climb up three stairs to reach machines that are 3 to 4 ft off the ground with 8kg of mass in your hands (up to 300 times a day). -Push / pull 20kg to 80kg wheeled carts (up to 100 times a day). -Walking from a machine to another, short distances of maybe 30ft of fast walking / jogging back and forth with 8kg of mass in your hands (up to 200 times a day). -Lifting 30kg off the ground or "squatting" with your legs as per safety guidelines (up to 20 times a day). I would also be curious to know if you have any plans for a passive system to hold your body in a specific position for standing, holding mass and so on that would be compatible with this one since the passive systems are usually behind the legs and that one is in front and only the upper leg. Thanks!
Was wondering the same. They can't claim that without FDA approval but...From their FAQs: The function of Hypershell exoskeleton is to provide power to lift legs more easily. Currently, Hypershell exoskeleton is a consumer product without FDA approval. Therefore, it cannot replace any medical treatment or be used for any medical purpose.
@Terry T Thanks Terry, really appreciate the information! But this stinks! People like us really need something like this to live better! Thanks again, Sir! 🇺🇸
I tore my glute all of the way up my back from excessive running. At the time I was running 8 miles a day. I'm so out of shape now that it's not even funny. If you guys gave me one of these I would record my progress and use it to lose 150 pounds and give you the footage to use for advertising. My record for losing weight was 40 pounds in a month running windsprints for two hours every day.
Totally get it for people with some dissability but just can understand how this help for trail running. The key of exoskeleton is to stand also in a mechanic plattaform so actually the apparatus absorbs the shock and have with less effort higher return on power and even lenght sprint, but this just squeez your legs and rest on the hips...
One: Why is the render distance in the real world so terrible? I haven't seen fog like that since I played Morrowind on XBox. Two: I did not have "the first athletic exoskeleton will be the robot pants Honda developed to help older Japanese factory workers stand up from squats.
Hi, I would like to get in touch with someone about this. I have a 5 year old child who has trouble walking due to global delay. I am very interested to see if this could help her. Would be very appreciative if I could speak to someone as soon as possible.
you're already dressed in a clad metal armor with large signatures, if you aren't a target already the noise makes 0 difference literally what kind of tank goes in like a whisper
As someone with a problematic knee, this would not help. Maybe it could help people with problematic hips, but putting back weight on your knees.... idk.. it doesn't seem useful
Hi, we don't recommend to use this product in medical support or use. We didn't make any research on medical symptoms when we develop the product, it's hard to evaluate how helpful for this case.
Very cool but sadly I will have to hold off until there is an option that passes the load down the leg, under the feet and to the ground like some other exoskeletons do. I would be concerned that putting all this extra stress on human bone and body will cause stress fractures and other medical issues, long term. If it ran down the leg and under the foot, it would be heavier but put all of that extra force to the ground, via the device, rather than through your legs. Will keep an eye out for future developments. Very cool tech and idea so far. @lucaaugment9039
This is obviously a scam. They are using the same promotion video from like 4 years ago from kickstarter. They promised me the unit 3 years ago, then 2 years ago now nothing. At least they could thank me for throwing over 2 grand in the garbage. Be careful these guys are offering vaporware you will never get the unit.
Im so sick of taking drugs to medicate pain to walk. How much? Im an American, they won't think of fixing my back in this economy. Even if i am a Nurse.
I've been worried about staying in shape for the couch. This way I can hike and still be in prime sittin shape. Phew!

i hobble as i had a stroke...right leg won't push backwards...i wonder if it would work for me?
Ask to your doctor, it could depending on how the exoskeleton works
Providing people with mobility deficiencies is probably the most useful scenario for this product.

Would this help a disabled person with lower back and leg issues? I can still walk but it's difficult. Please let me know? Thanks

Might wanna edit this so that it's readable.
Can be use medically?
How does the device know how far my stride is? Is it going to pull TF outta my knee cap when I step forward?
What about riding a road/ gravel bike ?

I didn't see anything to indicate any difference between it and hiking.
This is wild. I could see major law enforcement and military applications.

It turns out that One Horse Power is actually about 12.5 horse power as per the current formula.
No 1 horse is 12.5. One horsepower is 1 horsepower
You could say it's 12.5 man power=1 horsepower
If this worked well the military would be killing for it
The miltary probably built it and now they are just trying to make a buck from the consumer market version.
