I love gem pusher videos, especially when the pear/peanut/almond/weight whatever its called drops. Can't wait to see more pusher vids when you're in Japan 🙂🏴
Yes! It was everything we hoped it would be! lol They told us they plan on rotating the prizes out often as well! So we can keep going back for more gem pusher goodness!! Thanks!
So happy you guys made it down to Pittsburgh and enjoy Get A Grip. And I’m also really happy you made the video that you did with the gem pusher. Generally the prizes in them are not things that I’d go for but if it’s Mario prizes I’m in it to win it. 🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆 The new phone gave great video and the sound was excellent even without microphones.
Yes! It wasnt a bad trip either maybe 1.5 hours. We plan on going fairly often to keep our Round 1 rotation from getting stale. Glad to hear it! We plan on using mics most of the time but wanted to test without in case the batteries die. lol Thanks!!
11:28 you could always do like Crystal on plush time wins and call them peanuts lol I don’t know where she got that from because they do not look like peanuts but one day she just started calling them peanuts.😂 maybe it had been a long time since she played him and forgot what she called him but knew it was some kind of nut and it just came out peanut haha I don’t know. 😂 its funny tho!
We like peanut better than almond but dont understand where either of those terms came from in regards to something bright pink! lol Maybe we need to call them pistachios or cashews!
I love this game. Don't be scared to ask them to put some of the prizes in reach of the scoop if you have pushed them all back so they are unreachable. So excited for you.
Glad you brought up being quiet in Japan. It's really not too bad, though. In arcades it's still pretty loud. It's only when you're riding the trains or in a quiet restaurant that you should keep quiet. You guys are gonna love Japan when you finally go. :)
A little bit of helpful friendly advice when you are playing gem pushers just try to get the big items when the gems are little and light like in the machine you were playing. Those type of gems don’t get much movement and most of the time you will get more movement with the larger heavier items. Also, always drop in the front unless you want something that landed in the back and you want that item really bad and need to push forward. Most of the time with gem pushers the back area just piles up and falls off the sides. I hope you have a great time in Japan! 😊💕
Great advice! Thank you! We were wondering if the gem size had an effect! You are totally correct! Wish we had noticed it more when we were there! Keep the tips coming when you see them! Much appreciated!!
I am so excited for this video! I'm so excited for you guys (and jealous in a good way)! Yall will have to make a Playlist specifically for gem pushers. Best tip I can give, when the item you want is by the right arm/shelf ledge, that's when to hit the button to scoop! (Works with most, but not all.) Are we on count down yet for Japan? Maybe you should add a corner count down to your videos like 15 weeks till Japan, 45 days, etc. Be a neat way to build excitement for all us viewers 😂
The video quality sounded good and I appreciate you getting down to film so the viewers can see everything. I imagine it must have hurt your back though 🤣. The blind boxes and the little Boo figure were my favorite prizes you got, too bad you didn't manage to get the little Blooper figure.
The audio is great and the the video is too. And I’m sure it’s even a lot better than what I am actually viewing because for some reason, mine always goes to a lower quality setting even though I’m watching it on my iPad. 😂
You should call the "almonds " Goomba Drops in honor of your 1st ever gem pusher! Only took me to almost the end of the video to think of a suggestion 😅. And the phone works great!
Ooh, these look like fun; the little keychains are calling to me for some reason lol (also, brain keeps wanting to call the almonds "weight n' see"s lol... or "weight n' seed"?)
8:29 it was Princess Toadstool. I think it was always Peach in Japan, but the English version didn't use Peach until 1993 Edit, you should call the pink almond. The teardrop of success.!
Y'all got some good wins. My son loves everything Mario. I've heard them called almonds or peanuts but to me except for the color they look like fishing weights. I think the sound on the new phone is great you might need the microphones if it's an arcade that has more noise. I like the second angle.
Thank you! Yes! We thought fishing weights too lol! Thanks for the feedback! We plan on using mics but wanted to make sure sound was ok without them in case the battery dies!
The second angle is much better and once you learn where the scoop goes you'll be able to adjust to scoop at the appropriate time to pick up the bigger items and it's okay to put the bigger items in the back if you're trying to push something off like an almond
Remember when you are doing the 3 almond side you can ask to get it restocked with a prize. Warning they sometimes move the items on the edge when restocking. So choose carefully. You can also ask to re stock the gems and the prizes mixed with the gems if they are getting low. Have fun on your holidays.
i call those prize droppers. or even a prize drop, since its tear drop shaped. Also the squids are called bloopers and the princess's full name is Princess Peach Toadstool
Maybe use the mics, the audio sounded a bit quieter on this video. I don’t mind the previous way that you guys record the audio, it’s a little louder but more clearer if that makes sense. Also, that bowser spinning and hanging on for dear life😂😂 Definitely thought you guys were going to knock off all three of those almonds at the end
Great feedback! We plan on using mics most of the time but wanted to test without mics in case the batteries die when we are in Japan. Agreed, sound isnt bad but its inconsistent. We got some classic Arcade Rising moments from our first pusher, loved it! I wanted all 3 to fall so bad! Never seen that happen before! Thank you!
So cool. Congrats on the wins. Not sure if you have or no but maybe watch some videos on the culture. Take a foldable duffle bag for wins. I hope that helps. Above all have fun. Best wishes to you and your family. Some Japanese words: Sashimi, Tempura, Yakitori, Onigiri and 1you will need toile or obenjo. Lol
Thank you! We have been watching tons of culture, tips, do and donts videos for sure! We have several duffle bags ready too with vacuum seal bags. Thanks for the education! Hopefully we learn even more!
Just a little advice make sure that you have what you want in the middle one could you get that fastest and have it reset as soon as you win but you want to take your prize that you want out first or they might take it
3,000 gem pushers sounds just right! 😊 also, is that what that little guys name actually is, the wiggler? I’ve never known what his name was or what he was called.
Geez!! Leave it to you to hold me to that number!! We will compromise at around 15 gem pushers lol. I think it is something like Wiggler, thats what they have been calling it on the new Mario Party game anyway. lol
Your phone does a nice video. I liked the front angle the best but work with what space you have in Japan. I agree almond feels too boring for AR but I have no clue what would be AR enough to name it.
Thank you! We plan on only using phone in Japan. Glad it turned out well! Ya, we figured some of the Japan pushers might be in some snug spaces lol. Agreed! But we havent thought of anything yet! lol
IMO the audio was so good I thought you were doing a voice over. Your "almonds" look like 4oz lead saltwater fishing sinkers that were dipped the rubber used to coat plier handles.
I think her name has always been princess peach. But there is another princess in the Mario brothers universe. I cannot remember her name though. It’s on the tip of my tongue!
21:34 dumping them in the back is not doing anything. It’s not moving the almond that’s up top and it’s also not pushing anything on the bottom platform because the almond that’s on the top is blocking the gems from getting to the bottom platform.
Thats what I always think of LOL Thanks for the feedback, we plan on using mics most of the time but wanted to test without mics in case our batteries die in Japan! Thanks!!
@@ArcadeRising1 the only knowledge I have of it being called an almond is from Plush Time Wins. I only watch their channel and yours when it comes to arcade and claw machines
The phone works really great and the camera angles look great also. How about strawberry stone for the almond.😊😊. Great wins. I can't wait until you go to Japan, so much to do.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I love the gem pusher games could watch them for hours. 💙💜
Yes! Thank you!
You both are fun to watch!.
You should call it the little pink pistachio😂😂❤ 17:38
LOL We thought of that! Keep the nut name tradition going! Love it! lol
It was amazing. Very well filmed and I really enjoyed it. Thanks for showing your winnings at the end. Loving your videos.
Thank you so much!
Awesome video, thank you!!
Thank you! Amazing experience! Thank you for your hospitality and amazing clawcade! Cant wait to go back!
17:03 you mean like a pink almond?! What they’re already called! 😂😂😂
Im pretty sure thats a KAM specific name. We need an AR original! lol
I love gem pusher videos, especially when the pear/peanut/almond/weight whatever its called drops. Can't wait to see more pusher vids when you're in Japan 🙂🏴
Great video I enjoyed watching you guys playing a gem pusher and you should name the almond pinky weight and great prizes
Thank you! It was a blast! Pinky weight" is a solid option and in the running! lol
Looks like a fun game! Love the Super Mario prizes they had for it! You guys are totally ready for Japan! 🎉 looking forward to your vids!
Yes! It was everything we hoped it would be! lol They told us they plan on rotating the prizes out often as well! So we can keep going back for more gem pusher goodness!! Thanks!
When I watch other channels play this game I like watching where the gems fall into the chute.
So happy you guys made it down to Pittsburgh and enjoy Get A Grip.
And I’m also really happy you made the video that you did with the gem pusher. Generally the prizes in them are not things that I’d go for but if it’s Mario prizes I’m in it to win it. 🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆

Thank you! Hopefully many more gem pusher vids to come!
I like the phone I can hear all the little things dropping and your voice sounds pretty soothing

For the gem pushers.
Thank you so much!! Any special requests for prizes we can play for? Sanrio? Candy? Anything!
@ArcadeRising1 Sanrio! In all honesty though, I just love watching anything to do with gem pushers.
I love this game. Don't be scared to ask them to put some of the prizes in reach of the scoop if you have pushed them all back so they are unreachable. So excited for you.
Great tip! It was good to get some experience before we head overseas! Thank you!
I will need to find the nearest gem pusher in California!!! I learned a lot watching!
Yes!
Glad you brought up being quiet in Japan. It's really not too bad, though. In arcades it's still pretty loud. It's only when you're riding the trains or in a quiet restaurant that you should keep quiet. You guys are gonna love Japan when you finally go. :)
Great info! Thanks! We cant wait! Less than 3 weeks to go!
A little bit of helpful friendly advice when you are playing gem pushers just try to get the big items when the gems are little and light like in the machine you were playing. We certainly will make a playlist! It was amazing fun! Thank for the tip!! Good idea! We have about 2 and a half weeks to go!! Thanks!
I enjoy this channel so glad I subscribed!
Thank you!
It's fine to drop a bigger item in the back to help push the middle almond off the platform. I really hope to see these at round one's soon! 😊
I like the second angle of filming the best. But you calling the power mushroom Toad was incredibly uncomfortable 😂
Thanks for the feedback! Ya....I brought shame to ourselves and Mario...please forgive me! lol
@ 😂 alright, you’re forgiven, but don’t make the mistake again 😜
i had such a long day and im so excited to sit down and watch this while i eat dinner!!!! love your videos😀😀😀
So glad we could add a bit of relief after a long day! Thank you so much!
The claw machines at this arcade are excellent. Hope to see a video of you playing them also.
They certainly were! We have 2 more claw videos from here coming soon! We plan on going there fairly often going forward! Thank you!
Super fun vid 😎👍
- Brandon (from VA)
Thank you!
Love gem pushers and one plush time wins they call the almond a peanut 😂 and thanks for your first gem video and second angle better on gem pusher ❤
Thanks for the feedback! We like peanut better than almond, not sure why though lol
I love this game🎉
Yes! We need more! lol
Back in my fishing days we called the pink things sinkers.
That was our first thought as well! lol
The video quality sounded good and I appreciate you getting down to film so the viewers can see everything. I imagine it must have hurt your back though 🤣. The blind boxes and the little Boo figure were my favorite prizes you got, too bad you didn't manage to get the little Blooper figure.
Thank you for the feedback! It wasnt too bad since they had stools, hopefully that isnt a problem in Japan. Blooper! I knew it! Lol
The audio is great and the the video is too. And I’m sure it’s even a lot better than what I am actually viewing because for some reason, mine always goes to a lower quality setting even though I’m watching it on my iPad. 😂
Thank you for the feedback! Ours does the same thing on our tv!
You should call the "almonds "
Goomba Drops in honor of your 1st ever gem pusher! Only took me to almost the end of the video to think of a suggestion 😅. And the phone works great!
BAHAHA! Goomba Drops! Love it! Better late than never! Thanks for the camera feedback!
The reason he looks like he's dancing is because he's up against the round thing that's going around and around and around🎉😂
Pretty good for your first try.
Thank you! Only place to go is up from here! lol
Love gem pushers they’re so fun! I think the frontal angle is better! Gregory really couldn’t catch a break! 😂😂
Yes! Thanks for the feedback! No he couldnt...poor guy! lol
You have gone from needing Ultimate Snuggage to Ultimate Pushage!
I am totally going to steal that from you! lol
Ooh, these look like fun; the little keychains are calling to me for some reason lol (also, brain keeps wanting to call the almonds "weight n' see"s lol... or "weight n' seed"?)
It was a blast! The old school controller keychains were epic! Love it! Weight n seed is in the running! lol Thank you!
8:29 it was Princess Toadstool. I think it was always Peach in Japan, but the English version didn't use Peach until 1993
Edit, you should call the pink almond. The teardrop of success.!

Thank for the tip! We will have to remember that so we dont waste plays! Might need to brush up on our gem pusher videos before we go!
U were in my hometown!!!!
Nice! Great town and great clawcade!
camera work is good also
Thank you for the feedback!! We switched to 4k but couldnt really notice ourselves!
The gem pushers are really cool.. As for what to call the pink almond thing, how about Strawberry Drop???
It was a blast! Yes! Love it! lol thank you!
i call those prize droppers. or even a prize drop, since its tear drop shaped. Also the squids are called bloopers and the princess's full name is Princess Peach Toadstool

It's a pink pear! 🍐 or a pink driblet (actually a word, lol) Yup, got to go with Driblet.
BAHAHA! Pink Driblet is our new favorite so far!
The teardrop shaped weights are called “Markers” or Weight’s.
Strawberry Gems🪴🪴🍓
audio is terrific
Thank you!

Pink pear drops or bubble gum drops. Or pink turkey legs....lol just silly suggestions
Bubble gum drop! Love it! Its almost the perfect description! Turkey leg is brilliant too! BAHAHA! Thanks!
Yes!
8:29 Daisy
Yes! I knew I wasnt crazy! Thank you!!!
Just a little advice make sure that you have what you want in the middle one could you get that fastest and have it reset as soon as you win but you want to take your prize that you want out first or they might take it
In my mind I always call the almond the “buoy” or the bonbon.
Both of those are great! lol
Almond" ..better than, pink thing 😅

Thank you! I thought the same thing! Those new mics on the iphone 16 are pretty legit! That was our first thought too! Fishing weights! lol
Are they like pendulums or counter weights sort of 🤔
We thought of pendulums and fishing weight too! lol Now we just have to work that into something fun and easy to say lol Thanks!!
Strawberries 🍓 ore pers
Yes! That makes more sense than some sort of nut LOL Thanks!
I think her name has always been princess peach. But there is another princess in the Mario brothers universe. I cannot remember her name though. It’s on the tip of my tongue!
Princess Daisy
Call the pink thing a tonsil. 😂 How long will you be staying in Japan?
BAHAHA! Tonsil! Nice! Thats in the running for sure! 10 days! Thanks!
5:27 thats racist! 😂😂
Word of advice don't go for the ones you want go for the ones that you can get
21:34 dumping them in the back is not doing anything. It’s not moving the almond that’s up top and it’s also not pushing anything on the bottom platform because the almond that’s on the top is blocking the gems from getting to the bottom platform.
sucks that the power up mushroom fell back into the play field
Yup....and I called it Toad. I feel shame...lol
Make sure you take a coin purse to Japan
We did! LOL
You could call them teardrops or UNHOs pronounced OONOs Unnamedhangingobjects
What about calling in a pink pear
Rising nut
Call them dongles
Love it! Definitely in the running! lol
5:17 I preferred this angle personally.
You could call it a lure? It looks more like fishing tackle or a lure rather then almond. Also the audio is a bit muffled for me.
Thats what I always think of LOL Thanks for the feedback, we plan on using mics most of the time but wanted to test without mics in case our batteries die in Japan! Thanks!!
When is Japan you can ask staff to move Keychain more spread out on gems. Also I have seen that you ask for prizes to be put put in that you want.
Oh nice! Thanks for the tip!!
Since you don't want to call the pink weight and almond, why don't you call it a pear it's shaped more like a pear than an almond
Agreed! Still cant figure out where almond came from! LOL Thanks!!
@@ArcadeRising1 the only knowledge I have of it being called an almond is from Plush Time Wins. I only watch their channel and yours when it comes to arcade and claw machines
Or you can call it a stone
The phone works really great and the camera angles look great also. How about strawberry stone for the almond.😊😊. Great wins. I can't wait until you go to Japan, so much to do.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you! Lol strawberry stone is in the running! LOL We are getting close!
