Congratulations on a very successful "hunt"! Your find inspires me to examine and re-ink my similar vintage Parkers (restored, but some years ago now) and see how they do!
It's hardly possible to choose between these three beauties… I’d like to see the burgundy or golden pearl first because of the stunning double jewels. 🤩 Thank you very much for presenting the pens so nicely in advance!
Doug, I have a restoration question. I've got a Conway Stewart 15 but the section has shrunk slightly, and won't stay put. I could use shellac, but that seems a bit overkill. Have you any suggestions?
Shellac works and is easy to heat to remove. Rosin has an even lower melting point although it is more difficult to apply because it is so sticky. I heat the container until the rosin is the consistency of liquid honey and then apply a tiny amount with a toothpick. You can get it at Anderson Pens. They call it "Section Sealant". ruclips.net/video/q_yUy1T4LT4/видео.htmlsi=fZpK1nubwpdD92z8
@InkquiringMinds Thanks for your kind advice, Doug. I think I'll go with shellac, since I already have some, but I'll use it sparingly, so I guess "A little dab'll do ya!"
@@archivist17 That's the ticket! For attaching latex sacs you want a lot of shellac because you are making a permanent seal against leaks. But for just holding a section in place, a little dab'll do ya!

That is awesome!
For not restored pens those are in beautiful condition, seems like most of what they need is a clean and they are ready to go.
I agree!
Gorgeous trio! What an auction haul. Have a go at the one that needs the most work, the last one.
Fingers crossed!
Nice haul, Doug! Look forward to seeing their restorations. 🙂
You and me both!
I love them all! So beautiful!
Yay! Thank you! I just came back from the hardware store with 10' of vinyl tubing! :)
Oh, these look beautiful. The blue one is a stunner. Looking forward to seeing the restoration of each.
Thank you! Cheers!
Congratulations Doug. You definitely got some great pens.
Thanks 👍
Beautiful pens! I would start with he azure pearl or the golden pearl
Thanks!
Mouth watering, each in its own way. Cheers from the South Pacific.
They are!
Great purchases Doug. I have no doubts they will become resurrected to perfect condition
I hope so!

I totally agree!
Congratulations. I remember bidding on some of those from that auction but stopped competing. They seemed to be in amazing condition.
Gorgeous pens
Thank you, @tps3057!
