Yes. Well done. Here on the West Coast no-one knows Stan Rogers. Hole in my life.

Stan would have loved this. This song has haunted me for decades and especially so after his untimely death. He was a great musician and a great friend.

We had an album of yours too Ken up in a little cubbyhole college station in Rapid City South Dakota. I knew you from Chicago so I played you all the time starting 1980 for 30 years. Lord knows how that album got there, it was there when I started.

@@somejailnursedontask4658 that album does show up in some very strange places as well as at garage sales near you. Those were wonderful days filled a lot of creativity from quite a bevy of performers.

      you knew stan rogers? 😮

@@genericlegionaryrecruit7235 I knew Stan petty well. I played with him often on stage and on one of his albums (Turnaround). His death was a great loss to the musical community.

Anytime I listen to Northwest Passage in any genre, I'm brought back in time to 2005 where my best friend back in the day would always invite me and a few friends over to his place to play Gears Of War on the Xbox 360. Just for kicks and to try to piss us off, he would be playing Stan Rogers Northwest Passage while we commenced the bloodshed in the game, thinking it would be hilarious. It righteously backfired on him because I thoroughly enjoyed the song with the game. Probably one of my best memories with him before he passed away from a Fentanyl overdose. You'll forever be missed but not forgotten Ben.

Breathtaking in every way. What a paring, the Saint John String Quartet with the Bay of Fundy shore, our woodlands and rivers. Thank you to all involved.

Beautiful. I’m reading Garnet’s book and can’t put it down. I love Stan’s music. I played him on my radio show for 25 years.

It's played from the depths of the soul, not from the hands.
I love the song and your instrumental version is also amazing.

I always hear Garnet's voice? Saw them at the Cherry Tree in Philly late 70's. Would have loved to have them at my back if there was ever trouble.! Good men. I still listen to Garnet once a month, Jenny Bryce or Stan's Harris & The Mare AND i work in the music industry! Love em all

Ah...could you credit the musicians in the Description - you've credited everybody else. Or did the musicians release this and they are being shy or humble. Excellent, BTW.
