Horses for Courses - arguably combined our white ball 2022 and our red ball 2022/23 is head and shoulders the best all round team in the world in a multiformat series - yet if you look at both sides the crossover is minimal i.e our red ball attack Anderson and Broad are literally record breaking best of a generation yet aren't even eligible for white ball and then add Mark Wood arguably the fastest on the planet whereas Topley, Curran brothers, Chris Jordan and Tymal Mills bar maybe Sam Curran for left arm seam none of them stand a chance lasting more than 10 overs if even 5 with a red ball having no consistent control like a 100 ball in a row on a 10p piece like Anderson or Hazelwood exploiting the same brutal square 4 inches grazing either edge every other ball.
