Here is a tutorial on how to build a super easy playpen!
Obviously you then still need to add accessories but I hope this gives you an idea how you can make the playpen wall :)

I know this may be off-topic but would you please share what kind of bedding you use and what is the ratio if you use a combination of substrates. I am finding it very difficult to provide bedding that will allow for the creation of the tunnel system and you seemed to have found something that works. I would be so grateful as I have tried everything from soil and sand to aspen and hay and haven't felt satisfied with the results. Thank you very much. Thank you for all of the work that you put into this. Okay, here is my update, I saw your other videos and understand now that you use Pheifer Spruce Shavings and I cannot seem to find that brand (I am in the US) so I am wondering if you can share detailed info about the substrate (for example, what is the size of the flake, etc.) or another detail that might be helpful so that maybe I can find something comparable here in the States. Or maybe you are aware of a vendor where I can purchase Pheifer Spruce bedding. Thanks again!
Hi! Yes, I use Pfeifer, it‘s unfortunately really only available in Switzerland. Allspan Classic is very similar but I haven‘t been able to find a seller in the US. I‘ve contacted the brand to ask if they also sell it in the US but never got an answer :(

Yeah, just make sure to always stay right beside or in the playpen while your hamster is using it

Great video! I made something similar but with wires. I am concerned that the hamster would chew the tape.

if there's any hamster experts out there, I want to know if you could do a cage reaction to my cage. Its fine if not though
Achtung das Klebeband sollte definitiv nicht im iInnenbreich für den Hamster zugänglich geklebt werden!Es gibt Kandidaten die es anknabbern und sich schwerst Pfoten ,Fell und Mund verkleben können Panzertape bekommt man kaum mehr vom Hamster ab !
Bitte darauf achten das das Klebeband INNEN Nicht zugänglich ist um solche Unfälle zu vermeiden !
Und genau deshalb habe ich erwähnt dass das nur unter strenger Überwachung genutzt werden soll
