@VRX901 i don't play 6.7 as much anymore, I've been at 8.0 grinding the leopard 2k so that I can get the leopard 2a7 line open. One day I'll come back just to have fun in it. Maybe I'll even downtier the silly wiesel for exploding the stupid Sherman jumbos, t92s, and m36s
@Fat_Pigeonn long reload is fine imo, it only takes one shot for most things anyways. when I've played it I mostly get killed by things flanking me whether it's heat or not. it's armor holds up well against everything else tho
@@MrTeddy12397except the shell still should've penned and at least heavily damaged the tank, because I believe the part he hit was only a 38mm plate or something like that, so even at that angle the jadgtigers 128mm would've had more than enough kinetic energy to rip that armor plate apart, like that's one thing that war thunder doesnt calculate is kinetic energy, and that's why you get things like this where a 128mm gun bounces off a 38mm armor plate because irl a 128mm gun hitting a 38mm armor plate even if it didnt "pen" the kinetic energy would be enough to blow that armor plate at the welds and crumple it like a piece of paper, like theres photos of tanks getting hit with 122mm and 128mm guns in ww2 and the kinetic energy of those weapons are so strong that it literally blows apart the armor plates at the welds and opens up the tank like a can of sardines, now obviously if it's a heavier tank then it doesnt, but in this case a Sherman would NEVER withstand a 128mm from any angle without that 128mm gun giving that Sherman a bad day, even if the 128mm shell hits at a steep angle it wouldn't matter because as I stated the kinetic energy alone of that weapon would be enough to crumple that 38mm armor plate at any angle.
Volumetrics calculates how e armor a certain spot has, you were guaranteed to ricochet so it spews an unnatural number but also sometimes it just absorbs everything

If anyone here is facing an IS-3 in a JagdTiger, or the other way around, the IS-3 cannot pen the Jagd anywhere at point blank, exept the machine gun port.

It's the complete opposite of the M47, basically no matter where you shoot it between the mantlet and the ufp. it'll always get a trapshot. So fkn annoying, I have to fear T34-85s and Anti Airs even if they're in front of me...
Angle your jagdtiger like you would with a tiger when approaching or spotted by an enemy, trust me, you’re basically invincible. Re position after the enemy takes a shot at you

its powerful but it has long reload, slow and starts to face Heat and missiles which makes it balanced
