A story that may be of interest Rod Stewart popped my cherry As 1 of around 75-100 Local Concert Working Crew & as 1 of only 8 Local Concert Show Call Stage Hand Working Crew I also worked for KISS-AC/DC-Motley Crue-Alice Cooper-Pantera-the Headpins-Poison-Cheap Trick-ZZ Top & so on & while working the IN It was now time for lunch & Rod had his chef cook up 3 kinds of thick t-bone pork chops 1 was bbq 3 kinds of chicken 1 was bbq 3 kinds of very good soups 3 kinds of salad 3 kinds of dessert 3 kinds of juice + choc milk & reg milk & bottled water & cans of Coke & other name brands All on ice & that was just lunch! Hahaha & that's the only concert Out of 250 major concerts That that happened It was a 1 time deal Cause normally It's just soup & a cheap buffet & normally not the best of food Sooooooo Rod won on that one & during the show I was under the huge round stage w my roadie That we built earlier in the day & after my roadie passed Rod A couple of soccer balls My roadie says Quick! Trade me spots So we traded spots & he handed me a soccer ball & said When Rod motions you That's when you pass Rod a soccer ball So Rod looks down At our hole per say on the stage & Rod looks down & Rod gave me A funny look When he looked down Cause I wasn't his roadie So Rod motioned me anyways & after that I handed him another & another & at after we were done Rod looked down & gave me a big ole smile & my roadie Later told me That I'm the only Local Stage Hand That has gotten To do so So you know I was honored Hahaha & I just thought My little novel May be of interest Keep up the great drumming Joe!
